YOU CAN NEVER GET A REPLY FROM THIS GUY. WHEN YOU CALL THE NUMBER 702 349 7900 YOU GET A VERY ANGRY SMALL MAN ON THE OTHER END OF THE PHONE CLAIMING NOT TO BE APP.CAT BUT WHEN YOU GOOGLE APP CAT CONTACT THIS IS THEIR NUMBER.
THE PRODUCT IS CONSTANTLY CHANGING AND THEY NOW WANT A MONTHLY FEE FOR SOMETHING YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR. SCAM SCAM SCAM

App Cat is a Riopff
I paid for the app last year and i was told it is a onetime fee, since then they have been sending me bills for various services. When i wrote them that i have never asked for this service. i get no response. Since they automatically charged my credit card without my permission, i closed that credit card. Now they sent me this email to pay them for another service. They keep asking me to pay them for this or that. It is weird that i don't own the software that i bought. I they have already charged me almost $1000 for different things that i did not wanted. All i wanted was a simple app and now for $8 they want to disable my app.
My Money is gone and their product is useless. so i Guess this is another rip-off. I spread the Word on social media and let people know not to trust this App Cat. people.

My refund request was thus:
"Your website suggests, without any reference to additional cost plugins, that by buying your service that the software automatically creates glamorous marketing apps for iPhone and Android, and you specifically refer to a separate, bonus website.
What I received was something that could not install on Android, and was only a mobile website that relied on an Internet browser - far from the definition of an app. While it may have better functionality elsewhere, it does not work on Android without extra expense, which is not the product I am after.
It's functionality is stunningly limited, in that the number of images which can be displayed costs to increase beyond a trivial amount. Contact forms cost extra. Push notifications cost extra. Donation/payment functionality costs extra. Android app functionality costs extra.
To add insult to injury, you refuse to acknowledge my multiple, direct communications with you via email requesting a refund just hours after my purchase, ostensibly rationalising such arrogance by the claim that you're just a family business and you're too busy (important) to answer questions you believe have been sufficiently addressed elsewhere if I'm lucky enough to find it. With that kind of attitude, it's obvious WHY you're just a family business.
Clearly you are lacking a sufficient amount of honesty in your advertising, and are also lacking a sufficient amount of concern about your customer experience. You can only dismiss such criticisms by dismissing your customer's intelligence - but then, your advertising suggests no experience at all is needed in dealing with you.
Integrity of character dictates you reply to complaints in a timely manner without condescension, and when somebody promptly asks for a refund for not getting anything like what they perceived you were offering, that you take responsibility for the failure of a meeting of the minds, and issue a no questions asked refund (as well as review your advertising).
Please do so now."

So, I agree with all the other consumer complaints for App.Cat. At first it seemed like somewhat useful software. But soon I realised that it was VERY limited and that to make an acceptable useful app you needed to pay and keep paying. BUT now they have charged my credit card 8 times without authority for hosting that I did not request. I tried without success to contact them. So placed my concerns on social media ..... truthfully .... I also decided to abandon AppCat as there are many other options out there to create an app. So their response? Did they once try to contact me ... NOPE! They suspended my account. I don't care in the least about this and I won't lose any sleep or even think about App.Cat Claudia again ..... BUT I will be letting others know about their underhand tactics and far from honest customer relations. What goes around comes around so they will pay in time ......
SO... RUNAWAY from App.Cat ... OR INstant App ... same company ..... just DON'T!

App.Cat is a SCAM ! ! ! They show a video of an app being built for a restaurant and shows all of the basic crappy features they offer! But that's not the worst part... They show the crappy features that you have to PAY for and don't disclose this prior to purchase... Ummmm Hello... FALSE ADVERTISING!!! Their product SUCKS and is soooooo lame... It is a glorified script that allows you to mimic a web friendly version of a template based site and the script tells the person who opens in URL that they can ADD TO HOME SCREEN! That's NOT an app!! Can you say ... PayPal is supposed to protect its buyers against using SCAM companies like this!!! BAN THEM PayPal !!!!!

i agree with the above. i also bought the app in 2011 and now i found out (after some time not using it) that i have to pay again to keep my apps active. this was never communicated and there is NO way to get in touch with them. if you try to register on their crappy website to the forum the site is not found. if you mail, you get an automated reply that you need to subscribe to their shitty forum.
the are thieves.
please think about how we can damage them in any possible way.
