Charged After They Said They Wouldn't
Was a long time advertiser with 411.ca.
Started checking my website logs to see who was referring to me. Never did see 411.ca.
Started asking clients how they located my service and not once in the amount of time that I advertised with 411.ca did anyone ever tell me that they found me through that website.
Periodically went on their web site to check that my ad was still up and noticed a growing number of advertisers in my niche causing my ad to be buried several pages in.
Recently retired and called them to stop my ads. The woman said that I had to provide 30 days notice and that I would have to pay the final month according to their TOS agreement.
Told her that I had seen numerous bad reviews about 411.ca. Told her that if she put the last payment on my VISA that I would go ahead and write reviews about how I was retired and on a fixed income and how 411.ca was taking food off of my table.
She told me that they would forego the final month's payment. Received my credit card statement and there was a charge on it from 411.ca.
Called and spoke to their accounts payable department. The guy told me that the woman I spoke to told him to go ahead and put the charge through against my account one final time. He put me through to the woman's extension so I could dispute the charge. It went to her voicemail so I left a clear and concise message with 3 different contact phone numbers. Never received a call back from her.
Being on a fixed income, this month is not looking too good for eating.
I hope they are proud of themselves taking money from a fixed income pensioner.
My advice to anyone thinking about advertising with these people is to run like hell in the opposite direction.
Advertising on 411.ca won't generate any business leads for you at all. You are only going to waste your money.
They are scammers and liars!

I don't know what to do
I read all these terrible reviews about 411 and regret I signed up with them. What if I cancel my credit card ? Would that help ?

411.ca is a scam
411.ca charged my visa in jan 2015, over a year ago for a service that my assistant re-signed up for without my approval. they would not cancel this then and I stated (told them to pull my voice conversations) then that I would not continue with them in the future. I never received an invoice from them then nor now and once again they have charged me for a service that I did not authorize nor is that same assistant working for me from over a year ago.
411.ca also would not let me speak to a supervisor but rather kept trying to get me to do an upgrade (check your voice recordings which you also do not tell people that you are recording). Your person states that no refunds even though I did not speak to someone when I was left messages. I also was told that when I was looking for the review spot on your website to write my complaint, I was asking for the link and the person would not give it to me. What kind of business do you run? You have been dishonest not once but twice to me. Not once in 2015 have you contacted me to seek my approval to do more with my account. Only in January 2016 did you try and leave me messages – which I have now checked with my provided and have no records of these calls.
You will not reimburse my charges but rather insisting that I upgrade. You wont listen to me about this either as I said this is fraud. They insist that they have left messages for me to call them back - which I did not do as I had no plans of re-registering with them. I told them they could not re-register me as I did not authorize it. Where do I register this complaint as fraud? I want my money back. You wont let me talk with a supervisor either or put my complaint on your site. I just want this nightmare to go away and you stop charging me and return my unauthorized payment. LISTEN TO YOUR 2015 JANUARY CALLS WHERE I STATE I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS COMPANY. YOU FORCED ME THEN TO STAY WITH YOU AS YOU WOULD NOT GIVE ME A REFUND THEN. YOU HELD ME HOSTAGE.
I am launching this complaint within 48 hrs publicly should I not have any results from this company; with the local police, RCMP fraud department, government fraud department, BBB, every realtor in CANADA, every news program and online support groups. (I have now seen all of the reviews on the company which all speak of scammers) I now want this company put out of business and that everyone know the truth about it. Very disappointed with the way you do business!

Want to postpone ad but won't allow so losing my business!
After calling in to postpone the launch of my ad because of limited funds this month and not hearing one way they would be able to assist me for this month, I decided to read the reviews...and I am appalled! Note to self - read company reviews before agreeing to anything! Especially with the promise of calls from clients but never receiving any/promise of cancellation but continual billing/taking to collections!!!
My simple request was before the pre-authorized payment is due (if they can't stop it, then they can simply refund) but being of no help, I have sent in a request for cancellation - supposed to be receiving the email today and am not interested in doing any business with them because of this!

Beware - they say no contract - yet keep charging even after you cancel
These people call you up and sell you on the idea that you can cancel anytime.
Give it a try for a month.
Ok - didn't work - please cancel
Ok - one more month free - ok - didn't work - please cancel
No call back - no email reply - yet 2 more months of charging the card!
No Service whatsoever - now I am calling Visa to delete their auto payment!
