Product availability
We like many others were given the speech from absolute within hrs of landing and told to lie about how long we had been in country and our current work status. Yep we were told we could get cheap airfares via the absolute website using sky scanner whom they get significant discounts with. Lies lies lies. Next came the ability to book bonus weeks unlimited once you have the membership number and of course signed up. Interestingly you cannot even attempt to book accommodation until 45 days after you have made the full payments. And of course all bookings are subject to availability Are there ever any availabilities?... At least with normal timeshare you can book in advance as long as fees are paid prior to use. At least with normal timeshare you have something to put into Interval and swap for the destinations of choice. What reputable company insists you pay thousands of dollars up front but will not allow you any access to the available, resorts mentioned and shown during the 90 min presentation which took us 8 hrs out of our first day of our holiday. Funny how the few hundred dollars I paid to Agoda up front was all refundable if I changed my mind about holidaying at my chosen resort at any time. I booked was immediately issued a voucher which was accepted at every place we have booked with them. Yes I have in the past simply logged into my agoda account and cancelled no problems. Difference between a reputable company and a scam. Now we are getting the threats you signed a contract and we want more money. Has anyone ever been taken to court and successfully sued and made to pay the balance.

Misrepresentation fraud
We were approached on the street with scratch cards claiming that we won a prize if we attended a vacation club presentation. Our sales Rep. James misrepresented almost every aspect of the vacation club to appeal to us. He appealed to us by showing us resorts worldwide that were available through absolute destinations, however they have no affiliations with these resorts. These resorts along can exchange partner called interval international and the membership only includes a trial membership. We were also told that we would get 2-for-1 cruise pricing for life which was another lie. Absolute Destination's sales Rep. James will tell you anything in order to get you to purchase a vacation club membership. Please be aware if it sounds too good to be true, it truly is.
