ACC Warranty Group-Defaulted & I want my money back
My complaint with this company is they are not responding to my issues. I bought the extended warranty on May 19, 2012…..even before I made my claim I got a e-mail on December 10, 2012 from Steve Burgess, the president of ACC Warranty Group, stating it was “An Open Letter.” Among other things he said: “We Will More Responsive,” “We Will Communicate Better,” “We Will Speed the Time to Payment,” and “We Will Respond to Your Feedback. That should have been a red flag.
When I was in Sarasota in January 2013, I had an issue with my generator. When the mobile service contacted the ACC Warranty Group they denied the claim saying the glow plugs was a service item, but I accepted their denial. In March 2013, I was back in Sarasota and had a problem with my Aqua Hot system. Again, I called a mobile service to repair the system and they tried to contact ACC Warranty Group. Even though the service cost me $1,038 they only authorized $590 because they required the repair to be a rebuilt control unit, not a new unit.
The payment issue with the Aqua Hot system has been going on since February 2013. Per their instruction I Faxed the signed mobile claim request (#0000338) and the mobile service invoice on March 25, 2013 and on May 28. 2013. Also, I have spoken to the ACC Warranty Group according to my phone records: 3 times on June 24th, one time on June 16th , June 5th, May 28th, May 20th, and April 29th.
I pulled up The ACC Warranty Group from the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations. The State has them listed as ACC Warranty Services LLC and have voluntary dissolution on February 22, 2008. However, they have the same address as my warranty (ACC Warranty Group), and the president is the same, Stephen Burgess. They must still be in business in Florida as I got a call from a representative in Tampa, FL on June 24, 2013.
The bottom line is they have not paid the invoice for six months and I don’t have any confidence that ACC Warranty Group will meet my expectation for my RV. They have cancelled my account so I can't get into my account. Now my refrigerator has gone out and that will be about $1,800. So in addition to my to what I paid for my warranty ($5330.00) and the repair for the Aqua Hot at $590.00 and the repair for the refrigerator I need to Steve send me $7610 plus attorney fees. As somebody posted on this forum.....ACC Warranty Group is a Scam!!!!!!

Has anyone been contacted?
Has anyone been contacted by the company that supposedly got the "books" from ACC as posted on their website? I haven't heard from them and neither has another person I know who purchased an extended warranty.
Let me know if you have - [email protected]
