the product I bought didn't match the one that they sent
Not only these guys have awful customer service, but they sent me a product (wooden grips for handgun) which was completely different from the one pictured. They ignored all my attempts of contact until I filed a complaint through paypal. After that they started to answer but in a very rude manner. Avoid them if you don't want to be scammed!!

Grips for J frame
I have ordered grips from Altamont 2 times. The first time I ordered they said the grips I wanted would have to be made and would I like to receive a different grip that was in stock. I said yes and was sent a set of grips that were acceptable to me The second time I ordered from Altamont I got the same story (grips I wanted would take 1 to 4 weeks to make) would I like to take a different set of grips that were in stock. I again accepted the deal and waited and when the grips arrived they were not the model I was promised and were a set that was $10 cheaper than they ones I thought I would receive. However I was charged the higher price for cheaper grips. I don't know if this is incompetence in their shipping department or was done intentionally. I will not be buying any more grips from Altamont and would not recommend them to anyone.
