Get rid of those stupid story notes. They are so incredibly irritating, and a good way to get people to stop watching AMC!!

Iron Man
WHY does this show regarding male enhancement have a title that children would be drawn to watch? I am sick of seeing (on a daily basis), Iron Man on the t.v. menu lineup, and having to make sure my children KNOW this is NOT the movie. I'm all for a play on words, however, when this is clearly NOT for children, WHY would amc allow a show to have a title that children would think is a family movie? If one sees the name Ironman, or Iron Man, children included, they are going to think it is the movie, obviously. Until you change the channel and realize this is completely inappropriate for children, yet the name is geared to make kids think it for them. This is not some cable channel that has to be purchased separately. It is in the regular lineup that does not even require a cable box. Therefore, when kids channel surf, they will come across this ridiculous title ALL the time. There is no way for me, as a parent, in an effort to control what my children watch, can control this. I will not only write this complaint to AMC. I will take this as far as I am able. I will write into newspapers and news stations in order to make this a huge problem for AMC. I am certain I am not the only parent who feels this way.

Americam Movie Classics
hmmm, AMC has turned into a bad joke, loads of commercials, incessant repetition of the same movies, and NO CLASSICS. Nothing but another ridiculous shill for bad attempts at advertising. Here in Las Vegas, Cox Cable, showing their own crass commercialism, not surprisingly, elected to REMOVE Turner Classic Movies from Basic Cable, BUT kept on Basic Cable, commercialized AMC!!!! When does the consumer EVER get a break from these corporate Draculas???

Screen pollution
First there was station identification, that by itself is annoying. Then in addition to the mini promos pop up in the corner, story notes distracts from the show. The future of TV is bleak because it seems programming is being whittled away by more and more junk playing in the corners. Next it will be all four corners then top bottom and sides with junk playing constantly. In the old days tv was free because commercials paid for the programming. Commercials are all timed so one can't even flip to other channels to avoid commercials. We pay a premium to receive programming and I feel like I am paying for more commercials and mid show disruptions than the shows that I love. It is just plain sad and disappointing all around. I can not express enough how disgusted I feel with every flicker of non native pixels cluttering my shows.

No Streaming When Directv is Provider
I already pay DirecTV for the privilege to watch the AMC channel, and I switched from DishNetwork partly because of Dish's dispute with AMC. I am very displeased with AMC for not letting me stream episodes of "Mad Men" if should happen to miss an episode. I can't get caught up. It is frustrating, and makes me to want to stop watching all-together. Why do they choose to let some cable providers to allow streaming for their customers, but not others? Do they want me to pay extra to watch it, or buy DirecTV's DVR and skip all of their commercials? I don't want to do either. I think I am paying enough, and I do watch their commercials. They are making me a MAD MAN! There is no good explanation why they are putting the squeeze on some of their viewers.

AMC lost it's original vision Niche.
Unfortunately, AMC long ago forgot it's niche. AMERICAN CLASSIC MOVIES.
No crap ... just classic movies from an era that nobody in cable TV showed or so seldom showed, AMC built it's reputation on doing so.
If I wanted to watch a rerun of Miami CSI, ect, there are several cable channels plus internet options to see it.
Story Notes aka more crap. what is worse, the story notes are seldom story related.
Just because TVLand forgot it's nitche, AMC should not sink so low as to have TVLand hours.
I understand AMC has to cover it's costs, but infomercials are not movies. Most of the time, they fail to inform.
Conversation hours about movies are not movies ... they are just more crap.
It's been so long since AMC built it's reputation and lived up to it, I suspect most of it's paid staff that understands it's true mission are working elsewhere.

Turn
So, just like Showtime where I got hooked on The Borgias and then it gets cancelled before the storyline plays out, it seems TURN is about to be cancelled on AMC. If you're going to film a series like TURN, at least commit to a story line ending. This is the second time in a year I have gotten burned by committing myself to a series and then not have the storyline play out. I am actually pretty well p. o'd. over this. TURN is actually a very good series that has some really socially redeeming values. Please renew the series! I never and will never watch your shows about vampires or the undead.

I love story notes
I love the story notes that accompany the movies chosen each particular month to have them on AMC. I stumbled on a story notes movie by accident and I have loved them ever since. I love trivia and I love sharing in the "insider secrets" that these notes share with the viewer. I watched FACE OFF twice when it was on with story notes. The notes just reminded me why I fell in love with each of these movies or actors or dirctors in the first place. I look forward to the set of movies chosen each month. Thank you AMC for caring about us "trivia geeks". I think you ROCK!!!

Walking Dead
I am appalled that you felt it necessary to put in a gay scene on this program. We have enjoyed your programming up until you recently realizing that you too have chosen to make sure that you put in gay parts in every program. It is really sad that morals and common decency are a thing of the past. If you continue to make this part of your programming you can be sure that not only will we stop watching your programs but also sever other people that we talk to feel the same way. Please don't ruin our programs by feeling that you have to push this morally wrong scenario.
Sincerely Bonnie

The Walking Dead
Hi, thanks for allowing feed back. I was totally shocked at the gay kissing scene last episode. It made me sick. The gay population of the country is only 3%. Most of the 97% of us find this sickening. I agree with the person above. We don't want this crap shoved on us so you can score points with the 3%. There is no need.
Your Viewer, Bill

Walking Dead and AMC in general
This is for Bonnie12345, BillB, and other like minded walking dead viewers. Also intended to give you a little chuckle in the midst of your displeasure with AMC management. (1) A gay walker comes across alive person, which body part does he bite first ?. (2) Daryl shoots a gay walker that is bent over munching on some innards, where does his arrow/bolt enter said walker ?. (3) An unarmed Karl is cornered in a building by a gay walker, his life is saved when said walkers attention is captured by a rainbow coalition flag, fluttering in the breeze just outside the door. (4) Rick shoots a gay walker, hitting it in the stomach, what type of bodily fluid spews out ?. (5) A herd of gay walkers breaks into the supply room in Alexandria compound, they escape, and after discovering only two boxes missing from the inventory, Carol announces to the group "we are now all out of condoms and Vaseline". (6) A gay walker walks into a gay bar, and the bartender asks " why is your jaw so stretched open and dislocated "?. (7) Daryl is in a meadow field dressing a bunch of squirrels when suddenly he is ass-attacked by a gay walker. Unable to grab his crossbow in time, he thinks fast and hurls a handful of squirrel genitalia across the meadow, forcing the walker to go too the penile pile. (8) A huge herd of lesbian walkers storm the gate of Alexandria, instead of wasting so much ammunition, Michonne and Rick tie a long length of old shag carpet to the back of a car and drive it (slowly), several miles away, and drop it, leaving the lesbian walkers to munch away in peace. (9) Aaron & Eric are attacked (no pun intended) by a gay walker, rick pushes the walker down an embankment where it is impaled by a post that goes from its anus to its brain. Eric weeps uncontrollably, Aaron says, "he's the lucky one ". Rick just shakes his head (and vomits a little in his mouth). Well, that's it, hope you got a chuckle or two. And as for AMC, they don't even have an area on their website like this one(reviewstalk.com) that you can vent or suggest. They do have an address you can mail them a paper letter. Or an email link if you want to advertise on the channel. But that's it! WTF?

Walking Dead and Story Notes
ENOUGH, ENOUGH, of the stupid Walking Dead Marathons! It is basically the same frigg'n show time after time. They remind me of a bunch of dirty, greasy, stinking mess. Just let the damn zombies eat them and please get it over with. I cannot believe that this is the same station the produced Hell on Wheels, Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. How about better show Saul reruns again, beats the crap out of the Walking Dead. Not that there is enough of it on T.V. they are now making an accompanying series. Fear the Walking Dead? Come On!!!! How many ways can you shoot, spear or cross bow a zombie, with them gurgling the wretched sound and it doesn't get redundant???? Story notes are just plain stupid. Who needs to know some what some guy from Timbuktu thinks about what is going on in the scene. Also, I know I am rambling but I agree with some of the other viewers that you are repeating the same movies a little too often, especially when there are soooooooo many great films out there. On a positive note I love my Rifleman on Saturday Mornings. How many episodes did they make, because I have only seen a few repeats.

Story Notes
Me again, sorry folks. I was confusing the type of story notes they have on the Discovery Channel where viewers give their opinion on what is going on in the scene. Again Sorry.

Fear the walking dead
Fear of the walking dead is so sub-par to your usual programing. The episodes are BORING! The story line, so far, goes nowhere - the actors must be from SCiFi network movies. walking dead is terrific, why show an INFERIOR SEQUEL. End it's misery.
Thank You.

Commercials
I find some commercials irritating and nerve racking, such as the one with crazy music and cigarettes popping up in so many a row and so many down. It was shown on Sunday 7th February 2016, about 5:20 pm. Information about smoking is good for some but jerky music is just that, Jerky.

AMC still sucks
You know, AMC doesn't care if you watch it's channel or not. Once they get advertisers to buy in, they already have the cash in pocket - regardless if you watch or not.
Want AMC to listen? Target their wallet - the advertisers! Tell the advertisers they are wasting their money, boycott their products/services, and THEN AMC will listen to us.
Like all cable TV channels, they cater to the paying adverts, NOT the viewer.
How many time have you changed the channel, hoping to find a good movie, only to be interrupted 7 minutes into that movie by a 7-minute commercial break??
THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE VIEWER ANYMORE! Which is why I left cable TV. You should too.

This season the Walking Dead show has way too many commercials!!!!! Every 3 or 4 minutes of the show they break for a long group of commercials. I was so mad about it last night I will not keep watching AMC if this continues.

BRING BACK STORY NOTES!
I understand the complaints about the Story Notes being a bit of a neusance, but AMC only had a Story Notes movie once a week and it was advertised that entire week as having Story Notes. If you wish to watch the movie, it is shown without Notes on the same channel the next day. My family found the Story Notes to be interesting and we enjoyed watching them. Not to mention, these movies are not new releases and have probably been seen by most viewers previously. I would not recommend watching a movie for the first time with Story Notes, but as stated, it's interesting to see the behind the scene information while being able to watch a great movie at the same time!!! BRING STORY NOTES BACK TO AMC!!!!

72 straight hours of TV show... no movies
Many complaints on AMC that they don't play "classics" anymore. Many about commercials, banner ads, and notes. I can accept all of those. Now, 2016, your content is 95% Walking Dead, Talking Dead, Kissing Dead, Zombie Dead series. Almost zero movies. It is now Monday morning, Jan.2, 12:15am. You ran Walking Dead episodes continuously for over 72 hours. Zero actual movies. In your desperation to squeeze droplets of revenue, your lemon is now dead.

Repeat, Repeat, Repeat, Repeat
Repeat "Marathons" How many times do you think people want to watch "Marathons" of Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Rocky, Jason Bourne, Jaws and this list can on and on and on. That is not quality programming, it is lazy programming. We all know that AMC and its affiliates have access to a HUGE library of films. Break open that library and start showing a better variety of MOVIES. Doesn't the "M" in AMC stand for movies? AMC is not the only one that has poor programming, EVERY provider out there has that problem, HBO, CINIMAX, STARZ and all the others do the exact same thing. The problem to the consumers is that our TV service providers, no matter where you live, are shoving this garbage down our throats and then reaching deep into our wallets/purses with their outrageous rates. Our TV service providers provide us with what YOU provide them, so in a roundabout way you and the other broadcast companies are the cause of this not them.

Lazy Programming
It's astounding to me how AMC can keep a straight face while they show the same 2 movies over and over and over...
I think your channel has become a vehicle to run ads for your original series' while running the same old thing in the background. This, and the ridiculous number of commercials has made me drop AMC from my list. I won't watch it anymore unless they change. But I look through this thread and see 5 years of viewer complaints, so it's obvious that they don't give a crap about their viewers, the people who PAY to watch the channel.

TWD - way too many commercials
A friend and I have been watching TWD together since beginning. We are both shocked by both the number and frequency of the commercials. In both episodes 1 and 2 it seemed as though there were far more commercials then the show. It was absurd. Although I love TWD I will stop watching it if this keeps up like this. I am not interested in watching a show that is at least half commercials. If you care about your watchers or about having watchers, then please stop it.
Thank you,
2, up until now, loyal TWD watchers
