Unathorized Charge
I agree - it is unauthorised if its done under a 'cloak' I have been the victim of 2 unauthorised charges, Auslogics appear to hide under the umbrella of Avangate - who cannot re-imburse. When you buy the software apparently we are supposed to have ticked a box that says auto renewal. However most vendors will actually contact their customers to inform them of renewals/software updates but with Auslogics you don't get this - so if you no longer use the software you will not be aware that you are being charged. What I don't understand is that if you don't have an account with Avangate any longer, you cannot download your software but you are being charged. This is not right - and hence the post above is not factually correct. Still I expect Auslogics are making a mint out of this - get it right Auslogics and get some ethics into your business!

Unathorized Charge
Dear RPUK,
As we have also informed you on this topic http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/avangatecom-c207911.html?page=3#c1154396 please note that all renewals are being notified to the customer prior to the actual event taking place. In the case of renewals for the Auslogics products, the software manufacturer opted for the following renewal notifications plan: email message sent 7 days before the license expiration date and email message sent on the expiration date. We also wish to let you know that the renewal settings can be managed at any moment either by logging in to the Avangate myAccount or by simply contacting our 24/7 support department. Nevertheless, if the license renewal has already taken place there is also the option of contacting us and requesting a refund for the respective order, as Avangate can forward your request to the software developer.
If you decide to manage this event on this thread, please reply with your order reference number. On the other hand, should you decide to contact our 24/7 support service directly, please do so by using the contact details provided on our website http://www.avangate.com/company/contact.php
Best regards,
Avangate Support Team

Rip off scam
I renewed my Auslogic software subscription and I was sent an email telling me I had to call a phone number to register that renewal software. When I called they put me through to some foreign Tech Support organization that insisted that my computer was infected and needed to be cleaned. They offered to do the cleaning and servicing for just $199.00 U.S. when I refused the service they transferred me to another high pressure service technician and I had to go through the refusal all over again. All they wanted was to gain remote access to my computer. This is a rip off as the registration information was buried deep in the original email that they sent to me no phone call was required! I will never purchase from this company again.
