DAMAGED PROPERTY
My family and i are moving from Victoria to QLD, when i read this page i thought oh no what have i got myself into. We decided to continue with the company and take our chances. Removal day arrived and the communication between myself and the driver David was fantastic, his offsider Jeremy was also friendly and well spoken on the phone. The truck arrived on time the guys we friendly and we very professional in loading our furniture. After 3 hours of loading my house lot, David explained how the trip would go and estimated that the delivery would be later in the week, he will keep in contact with us ( to which he did), My father-in-law received a phone call to say they were on there way to the drop off point and true to there word arrived on time. David and Justin unloaded everything that was on the truck, no damage was done due to the professional wrapping of my goods and everything arrived safe and sound.
GOOD JOB GUYS
thanks for your great communication and transport of our goods.

DAMAGED PROPERTY
We employed aus wide from gold coast to melbourne. They were terrible, they were 2 days late and didn't want to bring our things to the house till the next day did not contact us to tell us they were late at all. Ruined our microwave and couch and we are having problems getting any compensation for them. A $2000 couch ruined because they were careless. Then they accused us of not paying them when we emailed them the receit to say we paid they did not contact us for what would happen to our ruined couch and microwave we are still trying to get hold of them!! It has been 2 weeks now. They are rude they threatened us and I would neer recommend them to anyone!!!

Wonderful Service.
I am seeing a lot of negative comments about Auswide Vanlines however no one ever writes positive comments so I thought it was about time that someone did.
I recently had Auswide Vanlines move my household belongings from Melbourne to Brisbane and all I have to say is positive things.
The guys turned up on time and gave plently of notice and kept me informed as to when delivery would be. They were very professional and handled everything with care. All my gear arrived in the same condition that it lleft Melbourne in.
I will have no problems recommending Auswide to family, friends and anyone else who is moving!

rude and disrespectful
we never ended up using them as we were told that we'd receive a phone call 8am Tuesday morning to tell us the time they would be arriving. By 9:30 I still hadn't received a phone call so decided to ring them. got put on the phone to Peter and he explained that the truck was stuck at Grafton from the floods.. no prob can't help that but a curtissy phone call would have been nice.. I had to be out of my property 9am the next day.. Peter said he would ring back in the afternoon and let me know what was happening. 4pm came and no phone call . so I rang back to see if I could get a truck with my furniture to the depo if I could store my furniture there. Peter would not listen just kept saying i dont have any trucks here so i cant do anything about it.. not my problem.. f your nit hapoy find someone else.. Called me a smart arse and told me to go to the depo so he could punch me in the teeth. Now there website claims that:
Auswide Vanlines is a family owned and operated furniture removal company based in NSW. With over 30 years of experience within the removal industry, Auswide Vanlines offers a PROFFESSIONAL, CARING and competitive service for your local or interstate moves.
Now I would like to know where the professionalism and caring is in saying he wants to punch me in the teeth. And one of the employees also threatened to smash my house furniture n partner..
they don't know how to communicate n are very very disrespectful DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! PAY THE EXTRA AND CHOSE SOMEONE ELSE!!

Great Service
Had Auswide move me the other week and found them to be wonderful. They called when they said they would and arrived within the time frames they specified. I found the office staff were very helpful and the boys on the truck very professional and hard working. All my items arrived in the same condition that they left in. Best interstate move I have had yet. Would not hesitate to have Auswide move me in the future and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is moving. They did an awesome job and they were very competitive with their quote!

Wonderful service
I want to commend Michael and the rest of the team at Auswide Van Lines on the wonderful service you recently provided to me.
The transportation of my small load of furniture was handled professionally, and in a very courteous and timely manner.
I would also like to compliment Michael on his excellent driving ability. I understand this was on show when he backed the rig down the entire length of our street at Kings Beach. This impressive feat captured the attention of many residents and all the feedback has been very positive and full of praise.
I am very happy to say that I have no hesitation in recommending Auswide Van Lines to all my friends and will certainly use your services again should I have the need

Unbelievably bad removalist company
I just want to warn people about this company because my experience with them was unbelievably bad! I chose Auswide Vanlines (in Rathmines NSW) to move my furniture because they make the right promises to be reliable etc. on their website and because they provided the cheapest quote. However, they turned out to be a nightmare to deal with. I strongly recommend other people do not use them. They finally delivered my furniture 5 weeks after the initial date they gave me. This was the 4th date they gave me for delivery. On the 1st, 2nd and 3rd dates they gave me they did not contact me to say delivery would not be made. I had to contact them each time it didn't turn up! I contacted them countless times by phone and email but getting information from them was like getting blood out of a stone. Though I remained polite throughout, because they had my deposit and furniture, they rarely returned calls or emails. I started to seriously worry I would lose my deposit and would never receive my goods. Finally they showed up but refused to unload the goods until I made full payment. They had not notified me in advance. Obviously one would like to check their goods are all there and not damaged before making full payment. I was relieved to find my furniture was all there and not damaged. I breathed a big sigh of relief. I see some people on this website have had positive experiences with this company. They should consider themselves very lucky. For me it was a very frustrating and stressful experience. It will be a long time before I forget it!

Driver saved the day
The management was terrible but the driver saved the day. Keith took exceptional care with our furniture and it arrived in great shape. However, the management couldn't organise a beer in a pub. They were supposed to collect on the Thursday morning, I followed them up on Tuesday to confirm all was well when they advised us it would now be Friday early. We were driving back to Brisbane and needed to hit the road. They didn't care. They eventually arrived at 2.30pm on the Friday and we managed to drive two hours that evening from 5.30pm onward to get a head start on the journey. The furniture arrived five days later. The management doesn't seem to realise that people aren't hanging around waiting to go... they've organised cleaning, cut-offs, transfers, work dates, arrivals, tenants etc. Surprised they are still in business.
