Fraudulent activity
I agree, they have a convoluted cancellation process.
They prey on the fact they are not completely transparent on their 6 month membership period after the cheap trial. They also keep records of credit cards after the fact they have "cancelled" your membership. They are scammers. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I am based in the UK and have raised this with the local trading authorities

Please sign up and lets be more coordinated on our approach, I think one of the best ways is a google group board so we can discuss further on http://groups.google.com/group/expose-dateing-site-be2com-as-a-scam

I have also experienced problems with Be2, mainly the non existent customer service department and the fact that you cannot cancel membership by email or by phone.
They do not make it clear there is a 6 month payment to be paid after the initial joining fee of £5. They tried to take £149 off me which my bank stopped, Be2 is now trying to call me a fraud!
Company is a nightmare, I have nothing positiive to say on the subject, all I can say is don't ever sign up with them!

I as so many others are having trouble trying to contact this organisation by email - automatic responses appear to be the only email you can receive. Names listed on their site for complaints is a non-existent email address.
These crooks took $260 from my account after I cancelled my membership and completed the section requesting membership payment not be deducted. Customer service! - there is no customer service. What a joke.
I am furious. I don't being ripped off. After the first email I sent I did get a response, which was offensive and lacked any sort of customer service. I have tried numerous other email addresses to no avail.
One can only come to the conclusion that they are white collar criminals who extract funds from EX-MEMBERS who have ticked all the boxes in getting out of this membership. I am concerned that they have my credit card details & I will be speaking to my bank to make sure they don't have access. I bet they have some sort of process that will prevent that.
BE2 - you can go to hell - there is no way I will be recommending your dodgy fraudulent service to anyone. I will make sure you will have no more access to my account - you crooks!!
I only wish there was some body or authority which could take these criminals to court and make them accountable for the deceptions/frauds they commit on unsuspecting innocent people. But they would only start another dating site under another name. Too easy isn't it. Protection for people by state law - don't hold your breath.

Any one sued by Be2 dating company?
I am one of you! Was anyone sued by be2? And what was the result? Just curious as I'm now threatened that the company takes me to court. It is in Czech republic, so laws and consumer protection might be slightly different, if not worse than in other EU countries. Thanks!

Cancellation of my subscritption
be2 suddenly charged me AUD$147 into my credit card, I have cancelled the payment and refused to pay the fee as I never gave the authority to renew the so called premium service with be2. I have email the Australian team to try to explain the situation but never heard from them. A month later, someone from their solicitor sent me an email asking me to pay 151,96 in Euro. I fist thought is that a comma or a dot. It can't be that I need to pay that much. I have asked them to tell me how much in Australian dollar, they sent me the total bill in pdf file and confirm that the bill is 151,96 in Euro.
I am so regret that I actually got on to this be2 website just out of my curiosity. Please cancel my subscription with be2 immediately.
It is not possible for me to contact customer service in Australia as there is no phone number.

I am a victim in Hong Kong. I spent 3 hours last night typing email trying to get out of Be2 HK contract. Same as everyone I signed up in Jan 2014 for a period of 3 months which cost HKD$1200. Luckily I report lost of my credit card in March 2014 and I begin to receive their money demand email in April . On 9th May 2014 I received email from there Lawyer in Germany requesting me to pay EURO $170 which is approx equal to HKD$1800.
I do not wish to get tangled with them so I agreed to pay in one condition that I require a confirmation from B2 hk to cancel my subscription with immediate effect..Cobranca from auerwittethiel. reply to me as follow :Dear Mr. Bear, I can tell you for the last time that we are only responsible for PAYMENT!
If you have any other questions or something like this YOU have to contact them. Thank you.
Yours sincerely

As a professional law firm they are oblige to fight for the best interest of the client and all I am asking is for them to confirm my cancellation of my subscription to prevent them for asking for more money from me once this 3 months subscription is over. They won't even relate the message. Obviously that their plan !
I then ask if I could have the invoice from their firm , This man get back to me and ask me for a reference number which I don't have a clue.
I further replied to him and said that I dont know and could he please check with his law firm data base or his client for my number and I am ready to transfer the money to them and waiting for their invoice and he never get back to me then.
I now waiting for their next step which I believe will be more threatening letter and demanding and increase of money.
Has anyone ever get really sue by this scam company and I read from some people article that Be2 use collecting company or have instructed a local law firm to chase the money .
