avoid any business with them!
Avoid business with this breeder! They misrepresent quality of their dogs and also sell sick dogs. They refused me in a help when I asked them after i found that my puppy was sick. I didn't even asked them for money, just for help and advice!
These people must be in jail, don't support them!

Carwyn Poodles, Caryn Cumberland, DanCar Kennels misrepresents their dogs quality, does not stand behind their guarantee
Caryn advertised her poodles as top quality, well socialized, and AKC registered. When they arrived, I was shocked to find puppies that were too frightened to come out of their kennel. They were undernourished, and parasitic, as indicated by protruding ribs, distended abdomens, and rough coats. The stench in their hair did not wash out with a bath. They had minimal muscle tone. Dew claws that should have been removed at 3 to 5 days, are still in tact. My major concern was, even after they got more active and started to move around, they did not walk correctly. Instead of being up on their feet, doing the prancy poodle walk, they came down on their leg and flopped their foot down flat, with toes splayed apart. You could hear them paddling along, with a plopping sound. They walked like they had flippers on. After checking their legs I found they did not have correct flexion in their joints. Their back legs are bowed, and appear to rotate inwards when they step. They are not the quality that they were represented to be. I immediately sent the breeder an e-mail stating that I would need to ship both puppies back to her. She stated that it is normal for 9 week old poodle puppies to walk this way, and that it was probably worse because they had been on the grate too long. Even though that was our determination upon seeing them, that was the first admittance that these puppies had been raised in a "puppy mill", or cages rather than in a normal healthy environ-ment. Even the pictures that she sent were posed to hide the problems with their legs. When I told her I would be shipping the puppies back to her, she refused to stand behind her guarantee, and take them back. The promised registration papers are typically shipped with the puppies. They have never been received.

Scammer Through Paypal
Caryn Cumberland is trying to scam me through paypal. Once I issued her refund back then she stopped her deposit and now is trying to get the deposit plus my refund.
Her Kennel Names are CarWyn Poodles, SouthernStyle Poodles, Dan-Kar Kennels and possibly Sim-Kar Kennels
She goes by these aliases also:

I am not tring to SCAM anyone
I am so tired of people doing this..I have NOT scammed anyone...put a deposit on a puppy was charged 30.00 to register the dog...deal fell through...BUT I STILL PAID 30.00 TO REGISTER A DOG FOR SOMEONE ELSE...this is the money I tried to have returned to me!! NO SCAM just wanted my money returned IT WAS NOT (30.00 for registering the dog) I have one kennel name Southernstylepoodles I have one name (I have been married more than once OH MY!!) Grow up people....dont believe everything you read,check with the person being accused...normally there are TWO sides to a story!!

I had NO idea this had even been put on the internet until it was brought to my attention today....I would have already addressed this before now.....again there is always two sides to a story....

Tried to contact this lady again!!!
I have now sent this lady 3 emails about this SLANDEROUS review,I have NOT heard one word back! No surprise there,people are only brave behind your back! I normally do not even respond to something this STUPID,but I am so tired of people thinking they can say/write anything when it HURTS other people who have done NOTHING wrong!

I have received no answer to NUMEROUS emails to this lady who posted this UNTRUE review...,no surprise there...at this point all I can do is say "you be the judge"

Dishonest/fraud/slippery tongue
Caryn Cumberland and I traded puppies with a written contract signed between the two of us dated 1/25/2015. She received my puppies and accepted them. At no time did she complain or ask to return them. Yes, the female did have a hernia which was caused from birth and our contract was for free from hernia. I told Caryn about the hernia before they were sent thinking she didn't want them. Caryn said that was no problem that she would still accept her. NOW I KNOW WHY. IT's been difficult getting puppies from her. At the time Caryn had two females that were she bred that fell within the guide lines for this breeding. When the first female dog had her puppies she would not allow me to have the puppies. Next litter was all boys, our agreement was for a boy and girl red or /red-white parti. My choice. Caryn refuses to breed the dogs that would fulfill this agreement which have gone into heat 2 times in the last 15 months. She has refused to return my dogs so I am out money, dogs and my recourse is court. I had asked her in March about puppies, she replied early April. When I emailed her in April she said I could not have these puppies. Please take a stand with me and boycott Caryn for her bad practice and ethics. I will be filing with the Ms Attorney General for her bad practices and am looking to take her to court. I have all correspondence between Caryn and I and could forward them to you. Many times I have tried to address the issues but she never answers the questions, just puts down the dogs that I sent her. If she don't like them then she should just return them. She refused! In the original agreement I paid Vet,certs, and shipping.
Caryn also line breeds which she feels is a common practice. She sent me this in writing so you are welcome to this too.
Red was what I was needing from her. What she has offered is B/W parti. Black. two males from the same litter, a sable, her inbred line, a phantom sable. I have asked Caryn for the money SHE said my dogs were worth and she still denied, she was shorting me on a kennel that my dogs came in which the largest kennel made. Her amount is $3400 but it should be $3550. to cover the kennel.
IF CARYN IS SO ETHICAL WHY DOES SHE GO BY ALL THESE ALIASES ALSO: Which are listed in the complaints above.
