Stay away
I have been a merchandiser for over 8 years. For the main company that supplies me work, I am a new rep trainer, team lead and Mentor. So I know how to execute projects and download pictures. I picked up Castforce, even tho their pay is sub standard. I figured I'd combine their work with other projects I had in various areas and pick up a little more money.
When I say their pay is substandard, they only hire Independent Contractors. This means you pay your own taxes and expenses. Most of their projects paid $10-$11 per project and they took about an hour to do. By the time you figure the 15% self employment tax you must pay, plus your own expenses, you will make less than minimum. Most companies that use ICs pay much more, $15 or higher.
My experience was that after I had spent 3 hours on 3 $10 projects, I went to report my work. A message popped up that said I had to load pictures in jpeg. ALL my pics are jpeg! So, since I was using my own time to report, and it was going to take Lord knows how long to get this jpeg crap figured out, I decided it wasn't worth it. Noticing the disclaimers, also, which said if they didn't like your pictures, you would not get paid, I figured that was their scam. You work, they get paid for the info and you get screwed.
Don't waste your time. There are MUCH better companies out there. this is a second rate, shady company. Wish I would have read reviews before I agreed to work for them.
