reverse mortgage deed in lieu
trying to follow up on the status of a deed in lieu nobody returns calls I was given the name of charborney in the Texas office 972-459-3603 that she would be able to give me the information I am asking for. I have called her numerous times over the past week. she returned one call on 5/27 I was not home and she did not leave a message. Today I have called 5 x and left messages. She called at 11:20am but we were disconnected when I picked up the phone. I immediately called back but she did not pick up. I have left 3 messages since then with no response. I have left my home and cell phone numbers for her to call.

"Bend over and let's discuss it"
My Dad was coerced into a Reverse Mortgage with what he thought was Met Life. The loan was "sold" to Champion aka Nationstar. It was "sold" again to Champion / Celink. Every time the money moves, your loan is charged a nice fee. He was told that since he had a trust leaving me the house and I was over 62 there wouldn't be a problem that the mortgage would continue in my name. Was a crock! I was his dependent / caregiver and recognized as so by the Federal Government and the state of California. My health is precarious and they have added to my poor health by sending threatening, harassing, and intimidating letters, sending people to the door, and calling me on the phone. They charge for monthly inspections, and they charge interest on interest on interest. I know that I am not the only person with these complaints about the abusive treatment. This is nothing more that legalized loan sharking. And the program need to be shut down. I am sure that Ronald Reagan had no idea when he came up with concept in 1981 that it would be turned on the seniors and their heirs...this is elder abuse since we seniors are being victimized.
