I Wanted Fioptics to be better- I wanted cincinnati bell to be better, because you couldn't get WORSE than Time Warner Cable, right?? WRONG!!! From the beginning the modem would cycle on and off, more and more frequently until it failed. Then you call Customer Service- who speaks NO ENGLISH (Indian). She walks through a script- never deviating from it- no matter how many ways you tell her it doesn't apply- but you can' the hang up on her because you can' the get a tech out to replace the modem until she approves it.... Shampoo, rinse, repeat- modems fail, you spend your time trying to talk to someone who may as well be a robot. I finally decided I'd had enough, and yes, I went back to TWC-NOW Spectrum. I cancelled my fioptics on 7/23. I returned all the equipment within 5 days. Now I get a bill for 85 dollars for service from 7/19-8/19. I call and say I can celled on the 23rd- I should be billed for 4 days, not 31. Another call operator who speaks no English- this bill is not really for the service, it is for the MODEM- and this charge can't be pro-rated. I have to pay 85 for having a non-working piece of equipment in my house for 9 days. I would rather have my brain gouged out with a grapefruit spoon than do business with Cincinnati Bell ever again...
