Classic Escapes sucked us in too
We too were ripped off by classic escape in the Gold Coast while on holiday in 2012. We are currently STILL trying to get out of our contract. After sitting and being talked to about this wonderful opportunity for about 2 hours we walked out with a bag of information and an appointment time to return a couple of days later. We returned and informed them we did not want to go through with the deal. They took us to another room where they eventually bullied us into signing up, but for a shorter period of 10 years (total cost in Australian dollars $9490.00). What a sham. On returning home to NZ a few days later we phoned the people in the Gold Coast to say we will not be going through with it. We were told to write and send a letter. We did. Unfortunately this was not accepted. After numerous phone calls and no joy in getting out we thought we might try and book a holiday, this did not eventuate either. We cannot afford the yearly admin fees let alone a holiday. We are currently emailing to and fro as phone calls turn nasty, their side, once they realise we want out. Classic Escape, classic capture more like it. Sucked in and bullied still.

Prizes Won
Hi there, My partner and I were given a scratchy when we went to a show last week. We are due to go to our 90 Seminar tomorrow. After reading all the reviews on here, I am curious to know what everyone actually won from the scratchy? I also don't understand why people are saying that "they are unable to get out of a contract", as far as I can recall reading on their website and word of mouth, that it is a no obligation contract, so how do you become trapped?
Could people please tell us abit about your prizes and also the bit about the contract?
Thanks,
Mohammed.

Classic Holidays Scams
We were members of Classic Holidays and when we booked our first holiday in Noosa - we found we could get better quality accommodation and at better rates using booking.com.
This company cannot justify the membership fees and the substandard accommodation offered. I spoke to am member today and she went to NZ with four family members only to find the accommodation booked through Classic was closed for winter - no offers of refunds and they had to find alternate accommodation at their cost.
I have set up a Facebook Group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/292304121252830/ - specifically for people to fight against poor service and rip off rates.
