I was having problems with Bell and after a number of hour long conversations decided to switch to Comwave . Cheaper and hopefully better service. Got changed ok and things did not improve in fact they got worse. Only some of my phones worked and when on the internet the phone would cut out. After a number of sessions.......at least an hour each time......I decided to go back to Bell........at least the phone did not cut out when on the internet and all phones worked with Bell. Comwave decided to charge me a cancellation fee..........$452. YES FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY TWO DOLLARS. They claim after only one month of use this was a cancellation fee. Lesson learned and I advise everyone............do not pay by giving any company automatic deduction from your credit card. I cancelled the payment by calling MBNA mastercard but they said I had to call Comwave and cancel thru them. I did but it was fruitless.
Bottom line 1. Never give your credit card to a company for automatic deductions. 2. Find a reasonable company for internet/phone , service BUT NEVER GO TO COMWAVE and if you do be prepared to get screwed.
