I am an employee in an Ontario-based Walmart Picture me Portrait Studio, and to say the least, it is the WORST experience I have ever had to deal with. My first DM was a OCD Psycho, who would reem you if you didn't book appointments EVERY FIFTEEN MINUTES. Christmas was horrific because we literally had about 40-50 appointments on a Saturday, with only 3 people working. Not to MENTION all the passport customers who are absolutely mightier than-thou, who WILL constantly interrupt you, like it's a privilege that we should even be talking to them. January roles around and you're stuck working 1 shift a week for three hours only because they REFUSE to fire the holiday workers, like they're some kind of charity, "Oh! We love ALL of you, and we'll keep you all!" Everyone is miserable, and were STILL GETTING YELLED AT because were not OFFERING ENOUGH FREE SHIT. However, when we DO, we GET YELLED AT SOME MORE BECAUSE WERE LOSING SALES. OH THE HUMANITY. Oh! and don't think for a moment that they care about you as an employee, NO SIR-EE-BOB, The higher ups will PERSONALLY go behind your back, somehow you'll end up working MORE and somehow REEMED AGAIN for wasting labour, because you're stuck finishing all this extra shit they give you. OH and if you are so DAMN FORTUNATE to actually make Assistant Manager, DON'T GET TOO COMFY, they'll tear it FROM UNDER YOUR FEET AND NOT EVEN TELL YOU! HAPPY DAYS!

Also! Did I mention THEY PICK FAVOURITES!? NO LAWD, it doesn't matter if you have a $700 rent to pay monthly. OR THAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR A SCHOOL TUITION BY YOURSELF. NO SIREE. They will demand that the majority amount of hours in the week are scheduled SOLELY to the manager and the sales associate with the HIGHEST peg. All the other employees WILL JUST HAVE TO SUCK IT WITH $30 A WEEK. TOO BAD SO SAD.

Honestly, I am SO sick of their shit. I could go on FOR DAYS at how CORRUPT and DISGUSTING this company is.

Bless, your souls if you work in a studio without a FunFactory as well, CPI's VERY OWEN GHETTO-ASS BUILD-A-BEAR. Because it's DOUBLE BULLSHIT. They'll write you up for having to resort to a (wrong) quick recovery WHEN YOU ARE MANNING A BIRTHDAY PARTY OF 12 CHILDREN BY YOURSELF. YEP.

Honestly, these guys just have no soul. THE WHOLE LOT OF THEM. I HOPE THEY BURN IN HELL FOR THE YEAR THEY HAVE PUT ME AND ALL OF MY OTHER CO-WORKERS THROUGH.
