Refusal to give refund!
This is more feedback rather than a complaint. I went to CTS for the IT course and got hired at the local hospital after they came to CTS looking for volunteers while I was attending College which is where I ended up doing my Co-op. I ended up working at the hospital fulltime for a happy 2yrs but then got layed off due to financial problems with the hospital itself.
My only disapointment was when I moved to Ottawa in search of a Government IT related jobs and realized that CTS was not recognized by any Federal or Provincial departments. You can't even fill out a complete online Fed gov application since CTS is not listed in the list of appoved Colleges. All well paying IT jobs (more than $15hr) require at least a 2yr College program. Now having said that, there are plenty privately owned companies that will still hire you and offer a reasonable salary. Remember that IT is a huge field with tons of various branches you can go to. CTS overall qualifies you for what is probably the 1st branch which is Help Desk.

Horrible Experience
CTS Barrie's PCP program. It has literally been the worst experience of my life. I can write a book on all the issues I have had with them. Two big issues being that they do not follow their own policies and they harass students. The College does nothing to back their students. I asked for help from them but received none. When an incident occurred I had to ask for an incident report which per policy they should have provided and helped me with. I handed the incident report in and still have heard nothing it's been a few weeks. The College tries to intimidate students. They have instructors that tell others about students personal situations which is confidential. The staff turn over is amazing and the lack of knowledge and respect from some instructors is amazing! I absolutely hate this College and will be fighting the College until the bitter end because what they have done to me and I'm sure others is totally wrong. They should be shut down. It's a horrible place, with horrible teaching skills, resources and cleanliness. If you are considering going to this college...DONT!!!
