Customer Service Rude Especially With Billing Information
Just a little disturbed about the treating of my personal information by the customer service department of Danbury Mint items. To get the just of my situation I received the item that I purchased on 6/22/17 and with that came an invoice, so I filled out my personal information (which included my name, credit card number, type of card, and the expiration date) so of course I am looking at my account to see when this amount will be taken out (already had my information stolen once so this is a brand new card, and I make sure now). So on 7/14/17 I get another invoice saying that I am late on payments (which I sent in total on 6/22/17). I called customer service and let them know the situation, and all they said to me is that it probably got lost in the mail, makes me feel so much better, so I proceed to ask what action would be taken if I give my card now and the other gets found, told I would not get any notification I had to keep calling myself. I say ok instead of getting a mark on credit report will give information and handle everything else myself, so give the information and get a confirmation number, so I think all is fine now so I cancel the card (which is a cost to me) because it my personal information and this would be the second time. Today 7/24/17 I get a letter saying that they can not access this account, so of course I call and they say that not able to access I told them I have a confirmation number which usually means payment went through (at least that is what I thought). Just want them to know that I better not have a bad mark on my credit, and yes I cancelled the card my information was out there!!!!!
