scam
I am appalled that Dealfind exists and continue to do business. The fact they are in Canada protects them from people in the United States taking legal actions. I purchased a voucher on 12/26/2011 and redeemed it on 1/6/2012. I did not get the Android Tablet until February. I cannot tell you how many phone calls I made to Dealfind and Fabuless products whom Dealfind contracted! When i got the tablet, it was in CHINESE! I had our local media outlet in Philadelphia look at it. They sent it to a professional who said it was a piece of "junk". Gary Libovestksy (owner of Dealfind) got nervous and said I would receive a refund. I got an address to send the product back. IT WAS A WRONG ADDRESS. Fabuless works out of his home in Toronto! Right now the tablet is sitting in Canada at UPS because it can't be delivered. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! You will be very disappointed.

I am also having difficulties with Dealfind and there is no one with any authority to talk with after reaching the call service nor are there any email addresses to talk to their legal department. I have an emergency which will affect my ability to use 2 deals I've purchased.

scam
I have been trying to get someone to respond to my emails and phone calls asking for a refund for a bait-and-switch deal. The company I bought a deal for says it needs more money to do the work. I have left numerous emails and voice messages for Dealfind, but get no response. When you call the customer service number you get put on hold for 15 minutes and then the call is dropped. This company is a ripoff!

Prestige Vision Center
I purchased 2 vouchers for this deal and went down to the location and looked at the selection they had. Prestige had only 1or 2 frames that would fit me and I got a quote for the frames and lenses.
I couldnt believe the prices quoted for theit product, $285 for the frame and $325 for the lenses, for a total of $610 less the $225 left a balance of $385 . These prices a ridiculous as they have marked up the frames and lenses by the $225 plus to basically negate the discount coupon. I complained to the staff and they said that was the price...
I have been shopping around for some time so i am very familiar with pricing in Edmonton. These prices are CRAZY OVER inflated and and a absolute RIP OFF.
I have subsequently found very similiar if not better frames and comparative lenses for $280 GST included.
I request a refund from your company for these 2 coupons I purchased. Please credit my credit card on file with you. I have purchased other deals from you company and have been happy with the value. Thank you for your help . Don Rudko

Colorific painting & Mountain Air Duct Cleaning
Colorific Painting has not responded to many calls. It apparently has no intention of fulfilling its agreement with Dealfind. Dealfind promised to refund my payment and has not done so.

Mountain Air has done a classic "bait and switch". Its serviceman stated that to do the service paid for on Dealfind, My house would be filled with dirty, dangerous air. It would need to do a 1000.00 service to successfully clean my vents.
It advertised "$59 for a Complete Air Duct Cleaning of Unlimited Vents, Including a Furnace Inspection from Mountain Air Duct Services ($240 Value)". Nothing was done. I was just subjected to the serviceman's spiel. A scam to get overpriced contract work.
I deserve refunds for both these vouchers. Dealfind has to stand behind its merchants. There are several other vouchers I have not been able to use because your merchants will not respond to calls.

All in 1 Home Solutions, Fairy's Touch Cleaning
I purchased two services One was for Fairy's touch cleaning for window cleaning and the other was for all in one home cleaning. http://www.groupon.com/deals/fairys-touch-cleaning-2
The window cleaners were booked through an automated, online system. I booked a time, got an automated confirmation and even a reminder of my appointment about 48 hours before. On the day of the appoinment, no one showed up and despite numerous emails, phone calls and text messages, I never received a response. Their voice mail says "Your call will be returned within 24 hours" which they never were. I continued calling and email for weeks afterward with no response
The second was for a lawn clean up. The website was different, but the online booking system was nearly identical. Again, I got an automated confirmation of my appointment, a reminder about 48 hours before and then no one showed up on the day. I emailed and phoned, and the message on the phone sounded almost exactly the same, assuring me that my call would be returned within 24 hours, which it never was. My ex husband booked the same deal for both himself and as a gift to his elderly parents and both had the exact same thing happen. They have not received any service or phone calls back either.
Both companies continue to offer deals in Edmonton and Calgary weekly on social couponing sites with thousands of people buying these prepaid services with them clearly not being able to honour existing commitments. Interestingly, they seem to be making the rounds of almost every social couponing site (these are just a few of the many, many examples):
http://www.teambuy.ca/calgary/referral/u4t8b39t/28136306/
http://www.dealticker.com/product.php?product_id=17887&city=Calgary

As I am searching, I find that these deals seem to never be honoured.
http://www.pongroo.com/business/all-in-1-home-solutions
http://www.yelp.ca/biz/fairys-touch-cleaning-calgary
I even found the same company name and a similar issue in Washington
http://www.reviewstalk.com/complaints-reviews/dealfind-l11623.html
A further search of the home cleaning company reveals a score of F by the better business bureau. http://www.bbb.org/edmonton/business-reviews/cleaning-services/all-in-1-home-solutions-in-edmonton-ab-164565
My questions are for the social couponing sites.
What are their responsibilities in ensuring that they are dealing with reputable companies?
When problems seem so consistent, why do they continue to offer "deals" from companies that are not providing any service?
I think scammers have figured out that if they offer almost too good to be true offers, that people will buy them and the number of people who have the capacity to get refunds are less than 100%., so they make off with thousands of dollars. Groupon and others are obviously turning a blind eye, because they are also making their cut and don't want to take action, because the time and money to respond to consumers and issue refunds are not worth their time.
Please call me or email me if you want to discuss further. 780-293-4017.

All in 1 Cleaning Services
We purchased "four hours of cleaning by a Team of Two" from All in One Home Solutions on 27 February 2012. The cleaning was scheduled for yesterday, Monday 14 May from 9:30am but the cleaning crew did not show.
We have phoned and left messages twice on the number they have on their website, however the number they have on the confirmation email address is no longer connected! It seems to be well set up with a phone number that has "options for selection" and when you pick '2' for Customer Service you are re-directed to a recording that says to leave a message and they will get back to you within 24 hours.
Worst thing is they require the voucher number to make the booking via their automated website, so they have most likely already redeemed that voucher with Living Social. I am convinced that this is a scam and "All in 1 Home Solutions" is a front to make money from unsuspecting people who buy Living Social deals. Thee were 200 of these vouchers sold in that round @$85 each = $17,000. Quick money for no work!
I will no longer purchase these types of deals as the companies are not verified by Living Social before the deal is offered.

Fairy Touch Cleaning
I purchased 4 vouchers for window cleaning from Fairy Touch Cleaners in Calgary. Are they still in business. Two of the vouchers were for my daughter and no-one showed up to clean her windows at the scheduled time.
What is our next step if this company is no longer in business?

Joseph's Mani/Pedi deal is a scam
I bought the voucher is hopes to use my mani/pedi deal and when i phoned them to book an appointment they said I can't book anything until January 2013, and that's because they don't have enough poeple on site. But then if I pay regular price, they'll be at my service!! That's crazy. I bought the deal in April to use in July and now I can't use it???
I called Dealfind and now they "said" they'll give me dealfind bucks but that's a lie. I since tried calling the 1-800 number and it's now an auto-play voicemail so I can't talk to anyone and I keep writing my email to helpdesk and no one writes back.
What kind of company is this???

Dealfind
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE !!! AND RUN FOR YOUR LIFE FROM THESE THIEVES!!!
I deal with a number of online "coupon" companies on a regular basis, spend a LOT of money with them, and have been a FABULOUS customer for all. All of them, except one, have stellar customer service departments, and on the few occasions when I have had a problem, have refunded or credited my purchase price, or corrected the issue, with few if any questions asked. The one exception is DEALFIND. They are PURPOSEFULLY impossible to get ahold of. Have no phone number for customers to call, ignore emails when it suits them, generally take FOREVER when they do respond, refuse to respond to requests for return phone calls, etc etc etc. I have never experienced such BLATANT DISREGARD FOR CUSTOMERS. I have a mounting number of issues with some of the purchases through them, but they refuse refunds and refuse to talk to me, and have ignored my last few emails. Below is a direct email quote from DEALFIND in response to my request for an ability to "TALK" to them about my issues.
"Hello Steve,
Thank you for your email.
We have recently made some changes to our processes in order to better serve our customers.
After careful evaluation, we have decided that we can provide better customer service by focusing our efforts on email correspondence. As an online company, we feel that this will result in more timely, efficient, and effective service for our customers. We assure you that these measures will improve and streamline our processes and ensure that all of your questions and concerns are addressed quickly and effectively."
Can you believe that?!? Trying to rationalize IN PRINT, how it is inefficient to speak with their customers, and that they can provide better customer service by not doing so?!? Unbelievable, ludicrous and incredibly insulting to us...the fool customers who continue to line their pockets. This is about MAXIMIZING DEALFIND'S PROFITS!!! Nothing more or less.
When they ignored all my requests to speak about my issues, I asked them to cancel my account and reimburse me my purchases and remove me from their "mail" list. They responded by email, at "light speed" and said no refunds or credits, but continued to send me emails soliciting the garbage they are pushing. Go figure! I threatened to sue them. They ignored me. Twice I asked for their legal department contact info. They ignored me. This was all done by email, AS THEY REFUSE to talk to me
I am now preparing legal documents, and am hoping to bring awareness to others out there who are being abused by these greedy bandits.
If you wish to discuss your issues with these thieves, or possibly join in a class action suit, and a media awareness campaign, please email me, Steve, at [email protected], and I will call you and/or send you my phone number.
In the alternative, I STRONGLY suggest YOU RUN FOR YOUR LIFE and ONLY DEAL WITH THE REPUTABLE ONLINE COUPON COMPANIES, who actually care about their customer's concerns. There are lots of great deals out there that have nothing to do with DEALFIND. As such, it makes zero sense to give them ANY business!
Good luck, and I hope to hear from any of you who are being ABUSED BY DEALFIND

This company is bullshit!
I bought 5 watches and they sent me 1 that is all scratched up...WTF!!!
I've been trying to contact them for over a week and all I get is contact the merchant. The voicemail is full and no one ever picks up.
Don't buy from them...not worth the trouble.
If I were the CEO of dealfind, I would stick my head in the sand and shoot myself in the face for building such a piece of shit company!
Thanks for the awsome deal of ripping me off!!!

Scam
Dealfind:
Why is that we can not talk to a live representative when we call you at the number that you have provided. Everything is through emails. You ask the manager to contact you and there is no return calls. Just these continuous emails back and forth talking about how sorry you are and how you are solving problems etc. When a customer is not satisfied, you promised refund and you don't and hold on to their money. What a rip off!
You are all talk! And too scared to talk to customers to solve problems.
I am never buying your products again! It has been going downhill!

Dealfind Support or lack thereof
I have a number of outstanding orders with dealfind that have well exceeded the anticipated ship dates. I have sent emails because oddly they do not accept calls (huh??) but I have not received a response back and more then two days have elapsed. I am nervous because I have a number of 'pending' deals with them that seem to be sitting in limbo. I have dealt with other 'deal' sites such as groupon and wagjag and have NEVER experienced a problem with receiving my merchandise. In the event that something has not been to my satisfaction, I have always been able to speak to a representative who assisted with a fair resolution.
Reading the other customer's comments has me terrified that I will just lose my $$. What recourse is there? Am I able to contact my credit card company to have these purchases blocked.

SCAM - Never received product purchased
I placed 2 orders with dealfind for the secret santa gifts. They were 29.95$ ech so in 2 orders I bought a total of 5. My order numbers are 121211-1156338-001 and 121211-1156338-002. This made a total purchase of $149.75
The ad said GUARTENEED delivery before December 24th 2012, which was why I ordered it. We are currently the 27th of December 2012 and I have not received anything. I had to go out on Christmas Eve and buy 5 people last minute gifts which evded up costing me a lot more that the 149.75 already spent.
I have filed an inquiry on the 21rst of December and I got an automatic reply stating someone will get back to me in 1 - 3 days. We are 6 days later and I have not heard anything yet. I sent a request for a refund and again, no replies. I WILL NEVER do business with DEALFIND again. I just want my money back and want nothing to do with this Scam company again. So many complaints on Google. I should have researched them more.

Will not let me phone them
03/22/2013
I get the runaround on my experience below. As rude a Thomas Street Bistro has bee to me I will not go there. All Iaske for was my oridginal dealfind expendature back as dealfind credits so I can go to an honorable restaurant instead. Deal find will not allow me to reach a real person to speak too. "GIL" Gilbert Sammamish Wa [email protected] 425-614-7469
-----------------------------------------
Sir
You have still not gotten back to me. And your phone service is set up to prevent me from speaking with a real person. I am requesting a direct phone number to a real person so I can explain all facts and get a resolution. I had a valid reservation set (two days prior to the expiration date of the voucher), and they broke it because of their plumbing problems The Thomas St Bistro assistant mgr. said the manager would not speak with me. I tried to schedule the following Saturday for our reservation, He refused and said they would be closed for a month due to the plumbing problem that shut them down. He said Seattle city health regulations were involved. He told me to "get my money back" from you. He was rude to me and if you wish I can relate what he said and my take on this matter. I was businesslike and polite. I even said I understood that they could not prepare for the burst plumbing. And that neither of us was to blame for the situation. But that does not make me whole. Unless you can come up with a resolution with them so I can use the full $70 value of my (now expired) voucher, in the future, I expect my original expenditure to be refunded. I awate your email or call to

My email [email protected].
Last Sat (the 9th)I made a reservation with Price. For this Monday night (11th)at 7:30. I drove to pick up a friend and then drove into Seattle. 1 +1/2 hours drive. They were closed. I called and they were in the restaurant cleaning up.. The Merchants kitchen plumbing blew up at 6:50 they informed me. The manager was not there. I spoke to 3 people and could not get the mgr then and the next day. As my voucher was expiring on Wednesday. I finally got someone there who said the mgr would not speak to me and they would be closed for a month. I asked for my voucher to be extended. He said no as they only got $10. from you. I was instructed to get my money back from you.

$25 for an 8 in 1 Nail Care Mani/Pedi Kit
I ordered the $25 for an 8 in 1 Nail Care Mani/Pedi Kit October 19,2012. Guaranteed Christmas Delivery! To date I have not received my order. On December 19, 2012 after repeated emails to the company, I was told "Due to the popularity of the deal, there may be delays in shipping your product. " On February 4, 2012, after another two emails demanding an update, I was told "Unfortunately, there have been some problems fulfilling your order which has caused a delay in shipment. However, not to worry! We have sourced another supplier who is able to fulfill these orders and you will be receiving your products very shortly. Once we have tracking for your order, we will provide you with this information. " On March 7 I was provided with this update: "Your order has been shipped via USPS. The tracking number for your order is RB327137561CN and can be tracked at the carriers website. You will be receiving your order shortly." The order was being fulfilled from an unspecified supplier in China. I have gone to the USPS site to track the order several times since this update, only to see today that the order is no longer in the system. It was been nearly 5 months and STILL, no product. I wish I could broadcast to each person looking at the dealfind site to AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This company has no credibility with fulfillment whatsoever.

Scam
I hate dealfind I think its the worst online coupon business. I seriously question all the companies they do business. I've had a poor experience with every company I have gotten a deal from. I have been trying to book an appointment with one business for almost a year obviously after the poor customer service I don't want to go there. I also bought a product through dealfind that would get shipped to your house, it doesn't work and is of very poor quality. I have emailed the company and have received a whole lot of attitude and no help. I feel that I've lost a lot of money and gained a bunch of stress. I highly recommend no one use this company.
