I purchased a voucher from Dealfind over a year ago for a detail package. I did not redeem it until after a year as it doesn't expire so I was not in hurry. I went to redeem it last year twice, made an appointment they cancelled the day before, made another appointment they cancelled again the day before. I tried calling the company numerous times and only got voicemail. Finally I contacted Dealfind by email as they have the worst customer service and do not offer phone service anymore. When I finally got a response they advised me "We are sorry to hear that you were unable to redeem your voucher as the merchant has closed or ceased to honor vouchers" however because it has been over a year I am out of luck. How is this okay, Dealfind was paid for this voucher and countless others and they are refusing to give me back my money, is this not stealing?? I have written them back again and advised them that if they do not give me back my money I will contact the BBB, media outlets and make as many posts as I can of their terrible services. I also found an article where the president and founder of dealfind stated "clients would be fully refunded if there are problems with a deal" Amazing because all I have had are problems with no refund. Does anyone else have any suggestions on how to get this company taken down???

Lack of customer service

I bought 3 vouchers for $75 which the merchant was not willing to honor. Purchase date Feb 29/12. First contact made with Dealfind customer service bringing the issue to their attention was sent Feb 6/13. As per the email trail below, I followed up with 3 more email requests for an update/action to be taken. Conveniently, Dealfind neglected to respond until March 4/12, stating that as it was now beyond 1 yr from date of purchase they would not provide a Dealfind dollars credit. UNBELIEVABLE!

I replied to the email within minutes March 4/13 and created a new request for a supervisor/team leader to review and respond March 5/13. Alas, I continue to await a response. Perhaps they should adjust their auto-response from "we have received your email! One of our Customer Satisfaction Experts will get back to you within 2-4 business days" to "we don't intent to respond to your email!"

As you able to assist? If so, it would be much appreciated.

Feb 6, 2013 - I requested assistance via your "contact us" option for customer service, expecting a response within 2-4 business days.

Feb 15, 2013 - As there was NO REPLY from Deal Find customer service, I followed your instructions "to add any additional information pertaining to your inquiry, simply reply to this email - keeping the subject line with your reference number intact." and replied to the email requesting the a status update on my inquiry.
Feb 21, 2013 - STILL NO REPLY from Deal Find customer service so I completed a new inquiry under ref:_00DA0aCyv._500A0DAQK1:ref
March 1, 2013 - STILL NO REPLY from Deal Find customer service so again, I followed your instructions "to add any additional information pertaining to your inquiry, simply reply to this email - keeping the subject line with your reference number intact." explaining that I had now opened 2 reference numbers given the LACK of customer service, the initial inquiry dating back to FEB 6, 2013 and would much appreciate a response and refund. ref:_00D60Iqu4._50060O4Kc7:ref and ref:_00DA0aCyv._500A0DAQK1:ref

March 4, 2013 - I received the following response:

Thank you for your email.

We are sorry to hear that you were unable to redeem your voucher as the merchant has closed or ceased to honor vouchers.

This is not the standard we accept from companies that we run deals with. We go to great lengths to ensure that our vendors are reputable and provide our customers with excellent service. You can continue to rely on us to find you great deals.

As stated in our refund policy, if a merchant goes out of business or refuses to honour vouchers within a year of your purchase, we will issue Dealfind Dollars to your account for the price you paid for any unused voucher(s). Unfortunately, as it has been over one year since your purchase, we are unable to issue a refund or credit for your vouchers(). We have made every effort to work with the merchant and ensure that our customers are able to redeem their vouchers. The Compliance Team has been notified and are continuing to investigate.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. In the future, please contact us as soon as possible if you are having any issues redeeming your voucher and our Customer Satisfaction team would be happy to assist you.

Both my sisters in law attempted to redeem their vouchers in May and June of 2012. The merchant never responded back to them.

I first attempted to redeem my voucher in September of 2012. When I finally got tired of trying to contact the merchant I contacted you.

If you check the date of purchase, it was Feb 29, 2012. My first request for assistance from you was sent Feb 6, 2013 under ref:_00DA0aCyv.500A0DAQK:ref. Since that request and my follow up email under that ref number were not replied to, I sent another Feb 21 under ref: 00D601qu4._50060O4Kc7 which was also not replied to by your customer service team. Finally, you are now responding.

I absolutely made every attempt to redeem the vouchers and contact customer service within 1 year of purchase therefore please advise when the Deal Find dollars in the amount of $75 will be credited to my account.

I will not be penalized for DealFind's delayed customer service response.

Not surprisingly, it is now the end of your business day on March 5, 2013 and once again, I have not received a reply. Given your automated email response states "we have received your email! One of our Customer Satisfaction Experts will get back to you within 2-4 business days" and I first made contact with Customer Service on Feb 6, 2013, the response provided by one of your Customer Service Representatives above stating you are unable to issue a refund or credit for my vouchers since it is now 1 year past the date of purchase is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable.

Please forward this to your Supervisor/Team Leader at your earliest convenience. They may respond via email, or call me directly at 1-204-283-6913.

Unable to use voucher - Dealfing keeping my money

I bought a voucher through Dealfind and have been trying to deal with their Customer Satisfaction team. I purchased two vouchers for myself and two as a gift for my brother. I had been trying to work with the vendor but they kept saying I would be able to get my service done soon until finally they said they were not going to honor the vouchers and were no longer offering this service. I contacted Dealfind only to be told as I had bought the vouchers over a year ago they would do nothing for me. I asked for the District Manager or Presidents contact information three times only to be ignored each time. I would not buy from Dealfind nor recommend them if this is how they deal with supposed valued customers.

Never go with Dealfind

Dealfind is the worse "deal" company I ever dealt with. The deals they are advertising are not good and when you complain you can never get your money back. They had an ad for cranberry resort which we bought but when we called to make a reservation they asked us all personal questions as who we are? Are we married? Are we planning to get married?
and how much money we are making .... finally as we weren't making enough money they didn't let us make a reservation.

And Deal find didn't give our money back ....

Dealfind

Bought a voucher for Dedicated Painters for one room for $49. Painter told me it would be several months before job could be done due to popularity of deal. After a few months I contacted them again and left 15 messages and never received a return call. Contacted Dealfind who said they would schedule an appointment with Dedicated Painters. It never happened and they told me I was past the year allowed for a refund. It was not a year when I first contacted them. I don't believe Dedicated Painters ever existed and they let the time lapse so as not to have to refund customer. It is a total theft. They have not answered any of my emails now for several months. Absolutely disgusting company. I have never seen worse customer service in my life and I have been doing business for over 40 years. Tastygo on the other hand have outstanding customer service and are a treat to do business with. Too much time has elapsed now for me to go to my credit card for a dispute.

Gu10 light bulbs

I was scammed from dealfind, i purchase 22 Gu10 light bulbs in february 13/20013, i was told that it will take 5weeks which was fine with me , i did receive my shipment but guess what i install all 22 bulbs after five days there were all burn out . I send email to dealfind let them know about the default product they sold me and my reply was dealfind cannot refund me or replace any of those bulbs . it's a shame that this company do not represent there product . I lost almost $300. I will never recommended anyone to purchase anything from this dishonest company that do not cares about there customers. Hope that the B.B.B can do something about this company and stop them from advertising any and all product that dealfind do not represent. Canadian please be careful with this company there are a big scammed? I was told i am getting a deal from $500 to $300. well it was all a scam.

DO NOT GET SERVICE AT ALL

NEVER NEVER DEAL WITH THEM, THEY ARE JUST CHEATING, CHEATING, CHEATING.

I buy this one but never got services:

Ottawa Housekeepers: $49 for 3 Hours of Professional Residential Green-Cleaning Services from Ottawa Housekeepers

I made appointment with the owner (Sylvia) right away after purchase. She gave me appointment in a month (Oct22nd 1:30pm).
On Oct 22nd,I waited from 1:00pm, they didn't show up the whole afternoon.But the day before, I have confirmed by the email they will come. But later they said they mixed up the time.

she gave me another appointment this morning 8:30am, but still no one shows up.
I have to have day off at home twice and pay the tax for the service as I was told. I really have NO time to reschedule, wait, confirm, wait again.

I have no way talk to the lady who is never pickup the phone call in my case(only voice msg).

SO I ASK REFUND FROM DEALFIND.

I wrote to dealfind and they said they will refund me, but it never happened. No refund at all after one month. No one reply to the email, and on one pickup phone call.

I think this is their strategy: promise you to refund, then you wait, no refund, then you write back to call back, no answers any more, never reply like whole team is dead, then one day you realize you spend too much time and energy with them, then you give up. They use this way to make $$$. BE VERY CAREFUL.

REMEMBER: NO FREE OR GOOD DEAL AT ALL. Business is always business, never let you make $$ on them.
