false advertising
Wow...No business are perfect all the time. No customer is either. However, Defender works hard to establish working relationships, with customers, that revolves around a strong organizational culture. It teaches ethics, it teaches value, it invests in its employees. I sit in an office with more than 100 awards on the walls for the great things this company has achieved, as far as expanding ADT and Dish Network as dealers. In addition, I saw all the money and checks that were handed out to numerous charities as well as all of the internal (employees volunteering and giving their time to help insure the less fortunate are afforded a better opportunity at a better quality of life. Defender's social responsibiltiy is highly recognized by the city, county and the surrounding metro area. For anyone to say that this company is a scam, you are incorrect. You may have had a bad experience, and for that I am sorry. However, overall, this is a company that cares about its employees and its valued customers. I only read about corporate cultures, like this, in text books back in college. I am sorry for any poor employees that anyone has had to deal with, but by and large, the people in this organization are amazing and do care about customers, employees and maintaining strong relationships with Defender customers.

Sorry but I truly have to make this statement I currently work for Defender Direct and they do care about their people...their main focus Businesses Don't Grow People Do, and you obviously were not capable for the job. The first thing that happened was that you only go through one interview and they fly you to Indy to have training if it's not available in your city...you obviously do not want a job with all the bad mouthing you have been doing. Better yet I truly wish you could see all the changes this job does for so many especially with the recession!!! I don't know what info you got off craigslist to apply for the job because they have you call into a line to set up an interview and ask you questions to see if your eligible for the position, so who ever you obviously went through was a scam! Sorry for your luck and about your background check I would check and make sure they didn't mess with your SSN because it was a scam! Hope better luck in your years but don't speak badly about a company you obviously don't know anything about!

defender is not a good company to work for
They fired me cause I wouldnt sign what they call a pip performance improvment plan basicly a fancy term for a write up so now I cant provide for my family or kids cause of them and my perfirmance problems was due to the high equipment give aways and ofc the lies they tell there customers that a $99 equipment and install fee is all that u need to cover your home today ofc a lie then we put pannel on the wall and tell customer the real price to cover there house
