Dodgey sales people
Had these clowns call me today, young middle eastern or European Aussie accent. I said I did not want to participate in survey after I told him we were registering for do not call. He said "WHY NOT?" I asked where he was from again? he hesitated and after a long silence of getting his reply together he said..."Wonderland". I think these are the same people that duped my previous naive admin person as she was pretty nervous getting me to sign invoices for stock we didn't need and it was BIG BUCKS. My point is they are Scum bags and luckily for sites like this I was able to track the previous complaints and act on it. He should be frog marched out of the building today once my complaint is dealt with. If he's not I will be on Ray Hadley tomorrow morning.

I have just been through the same but I knew something was up when I checked the website. Here is one of them http://www.deltec.com.au and also deltecmanufacturing.com.au . On this $2 HTML website they have NO products listed, 2ndly they have an address in the richest part of Sydney, with no products listed. 3rdly they almost speak in a slang tone as would a classic bunch of gypos. They also assure you that they will be supplying your local printer company and all of Australia with their 'awesome' products. Remember it is a debtors world so if you dont pay your invoice then dont feel so bad as they probably wont have the money to cover recovery costs. 2ndly you can stitch them up by taking them to Fair Trading for supplying items/quantities you didn't order but they try to charge you for. If they admit to having a recorded message of the conversation you can get them as it is illegal to make call recordings without your consent. Of course they will deny the recording took place. All you have to do is contact them about your order before things get ugly and right at the start announce that you like everyone else is doing it for 'Quality and Assurance' purposes. They agree, you record, get on the topic of buying more stuff, but ask them to play back your recording just to 'confirm'. Be sneaky. Its legal, obviously because they get away with it. Undoubtedly deltec would be aware of this site and it is highly likely you are reading this after the fact. Good luck

Unauthorised orders
I have had the same problem and am dealing with an invoice for over $4000 for cartridges sent to the office (before I started) that we do not use. They will not accept return. We have a whole room ($17, 000) of cartridges that they had sent us that could not be used - and we have paid for. I am going to be taking them to the ACCC! We are a not for profit charity organisation.

WOW! I just had this company call me not 5 minutes ago in regards to a survey I had completed in November. They would now like to send the 'trial order' through to me, I got off the phone and was like "WTF, just happened?" Got on the internet and found this site, rang them and cancelled the order and asked for a confirmation fax outlining the order being cancelled. Shall wait and see what happens, I know one thing if it rocks up on our door by courier it won't be making it in the door.

Deltec Manufacturing
You are all quite correct in your assessment of Deltec as an unethical company. We agreed to 4 individual deliveries of 1 set of toners over 12 months with this company - the first delivery was OK but then they rang and said they were late with the 2nd delivery and was it OK to combine the second & third delivery, so 2 sets turned up. Then on the next one 3 sets turned up in one delivery (over $8,000 worth of toners) and it recently happened again for a 4th time (another $8,000 worth). If you ring the company - noone can speak to you because they don't know whats happening BUT we will get your accounts manager to ring you, and when she does she blames it on "the other girl" that doesn't work there any more. The accounts manager agreed to take back 2 sets from the last delivery and was going to organise a pickup of them - but guess what surprise surprise - they have no record of that. She also said we would be given a 90 day account so we did ot have to pay immediately and guess what - they have been ringing and harrassing us on a weekly basis asking us to pay it within 30 days - we have told them every week we will pay it in 89 days 11 hours and 59 minutes. The last woman that rang to harass suggested we sell the unwanted toners on e-bay and that we should pay up now so we can claim the GST back - AVOID THIS COMPANY

I can say that I have had all the above problems aswel. Our business agreed to one cartridge and now we are being told that we agreed to 4 over 1 year WTF! And all the harassing phone calls is getting old. I decided to challenge them on the basis that the product was misleading as on the phone I was told the product would print around 16000 pages the box I was supplied with said 12000 and my normal brand cartridge box says 12500 (not to mention its 1/3 of the price.)First I was told to test the product by putting the date when I put it in the printer to see how long it lasted. Than I was told that I had obviously been supplied the wrong product and they were willing to swap it. And lastly I was told that the box it came in was recycled and thats why it had the wrong information on it. Hmmm what to believe. I was told that I could not cancel the next shipment because it had already been prepared I couldn't help but laugh when I said "interesting the paperwork you send me 10 times a day to sign and return hasn't been done and as i read it thats the confirmation you need to send it out, so I don't see how I have commited to buy the next 2 cartridges on the sheet" she didn't have much left to say when I told her I would be seeking legal advice on the cartridge I already had and definately the next 2 if the courier turns up with them.

Deltec Rip Off Copycat
I once accepted a delivery from Deltec for cartridges I didn't order, wrongly believing someone else in my business may have placed the order. To avoid being called a "bad debt" business I paid the bill. I have since refused many times over the phone to accept or acknowledge any further scam orders from Deltec. But be careful, I received a call last week and the week before from another cartridge company calling itself "Maxco" and they tried to convince me that I have ordered thousands of dollars worth of overpriced cartridges that my business would not use in five years. I don't know if Maxco is a subsidiary of Deltec or just another scam artist copying the Deltec method of ripping people off.

Double Charge for Faulty Products
I had a set of cartridges sent and we started using them. Within 1 week the Yellow cartridge went everywhere ruining my printer. I called the company and told them what happened. They said to package up the cartridges even the ones that were ok in the printer. I packaged and sent via post. They told me when they received my returned goods they would send the new set. I had to have the printing done off site for 1.5 weeks. I called them and asked where the cartridges were - I was told that they will send when they receive ours. We received the cartridges the next week. All good?? No way, apparently they never received my cartridges.....WTF? Why had they sent me new ones????? I received an invoice each month for the next 6 months and explained my issue to a new person each time. Nothing had been accomplished each time. I have tried and tried to call the company but no-one in the 'department' is available each time. It is a year and a half later and I have just received another invoice demanding the final amount. How ridiculous is this company.
