Won,t check oil on dodge vans

Went in for an oil change at Mr Lube,he changed the oil and said he wouldn't,t check the level,as he wouldn't,t be responsible if the end broke off of the dipstick.He said they have an issue with Dodge Vans and told me right across the board they won,t check the oil in dodge vans.This sounds ridiculous to me! Why would he not tell me this before he changed the oil!
I went home and checked the dipstick and it was broken off and just sitting in position.Obviously the oil checker broke it off and wasn't, man enough to admit it. I phoned Mr Lube and got the technician and he said he didn,t touch it and would see if anyone else did.He said not. I asked to speak to the manager and they said they would give him the message and he would call me.. No calls so I called back.Manager answered and told me about the ruling not to check Dodge Vans.He said he would have to check the video tapes to see if the tech did break it.
No calls again. What ever happened to customer service? Isn,t the customer always first.
This was an easy fix,and a $30 dipstick to replace.Meanwhile they lost the service from my three cars and my two daughters four cars, Nice going Mr Lube,Thx for the help!
