Dangerous Dental Clinic

Not fair practice
Dr. German Arzate of Dental Maya, Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry has been profiled on Global TV BC Canada. Several Canadian dental specialists along with ex patients reveal the shoddy dental work preformed by this dentist and clinic. The Canadian dental association sends a warning to dental tourists. Dr. German Arzate has several internet dental companies all marketed by a family member ( Camilia A Garza). Dental Maya, Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry, Cancun Top Dental, Miracle Dentures, Snap on Dentures. Some websites went down after Global Television exposed the clinic and doctor. But several remain up and running so remember his name (German Arzate aka German Arzate Gara) that way when you contact a clinic in Cancun Mexico you can see if he is listed as a staff member and if you do see his name then you should seek out a safer alternative.

Improper Diagnosis
Dr. Arzate and his colleagues proposed crowns for my teeth and upon receiving a 2nd and 3rd opinion it was found that I had extensive gum disease and crowns could not be applied until after the pre-existing condition was fixed. This clinic and doctor do not appear to abide by any professional standards and are out simply to line their pockets with tourist dollars.

Bad work
I had 20 teeth done at dental maya one and a half year ago. Since then I've had 5 teeth fall out and had to get re-bonded, 2 completely broke which they did replace when I returned. When I was in various Canadian dental offices I was complimented at how nice they looked until they started to look closer. The "margins" are very poorly done because the teeth were not properly prepared and the sloppy cementing of the veneers combined gave me what my current dentist referred to as artificially induced gingivitis. I water pick twice daily and the smell is repulsive. I NEED to replace these at home for full price. They are a volume clinic with low standards. So if you want good looking, rank smelling gingivitis teeth be sure to go to cancun cosmetic dentistry!

Dental by German Arzate
I had a terrible smile makeover at Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry aka Cancun Top Dental that was once called Dental Maya. Almost all the work has to be redone. Dr. German Arzate left open margins on the crowns and veneers. My teeth are virtually rotting underneath. This clinic will not give refunds to dental tourists. I don't recommend any tourist to go there. Very bad business and after care. Even if you see good reviews you cant verify them. A dentist that used to work in that clinic has written an open letter to the public and it states "for every one good review he has, there is two or three that are not". They also try to remove reviews and use marketing advertisement tactics to draw attention away from the bad press they received from Americans and Canadians including Global television that showed him and identified him. His new clinic is located in Malecon mall in Cancun Mexico. Dont go to this clinic or dentist.

Beware
Not only will you lose the money paid to German Arzate, but you will lose teeth, good health, and much more money you will use to repair the damage you didn't have before dr Arzate team of dental students got their inexperienced hands on your mouth! There are plenty of great dentists in Mexico, and Cancun. This clinic isn't the only option! They are money hungry greedy bullies!! Run from this place. Keep in mind, they change their name a lot. Dr German Arzate is the main guy. His coordinator Paty, a terrified lady who obeys this guy like a well trained puppy. And Arzates sister Camilla. Please don't fall victim to these unscrupulous frauds

Very Bad all on 4
I went to see German Arzate, I was in need of full top teeth, he recommended the all on 4, told me about it, so we went forward and did it, well after I got home the implants went bad, so I went back to see German and he said ok we need to open up the gums again and add much needed bone, then add the implants and send you home for 5 months till it heals, then come back for the final. So I did exactly that. I cam back in 5 months and he finished the rest, the teeth looked wonderful, he took my wife and I out for dinner, it was amazing how I was able to eat anything I desired, So I went home a very happy camper, months later the screws became loose, I called German and he said you need to come back so I can fix the problem, so I went back and all he did was tighten the screws up. Once again I went home kind of happy but I was a little concerned, anyway 2 months went bny and the screws became loose again, so a buddy of mine told me of another dentist that he went to that he thought was better, So I went to Cancun Dental Specialist , and they were very nice and told me they could fix the problem, so they went ahead and put a new all on 4 in, but it never worked either, I won;t mention the name of that dentist because they gave my money back, but German has not, what has happened is this, the far right hand implant has gone bad and I need to have a new one put in at the cost of $3500.00, the reason being is the all on 4 that German put in was never correct, it was never evenly balanced across the top of the mouth, in other words it put much pressure on the implants themselves, nd thus it caused the one implants to go bad, I am in the process of having it replaced here in the USA. I could have saved myself a lot of money by going to the USA to begin with.
