dulux
i have purchased two 750ml cans of dulux quick dry satinwood.buttermilk is the colour.i can only say that milk is the exact word for this dreadful paint.having spent hours preparing the wood to paint with dulux it was a waste of time and money.the paint was very runny and didnt adhere to the undercoat.we went elswhere and got this colour mixed and its perfect,we wont even need a second coat.i contacted the Range where i bought this from and having no recipt, the manager and a very helpful young lady trawled through the till recipts and found ours.upon checking their paint stocks of this particular colour it was found that they were all of a watery consistance and they have withdrawn the item and will be returning it to dulux.we had a refund.its the incoveniance your put to and the extra petrol you use returning these items that make me angry.its not right that there is no place to complain to dulux.we will never buy or recommend dulux again and we have been using it for over 30years.

Dulux Satinwood
This paint is like water. I bought it in Barley White. Absolutely no coverage. 3 coats over light paint or undercoat. I just wish it would turn yellow! I will never buy Dulux paint again.

Dulux Once
When I opened the can there was about 3" of oily liquid on top. No information on tin about stirring, just says 'ready to use'! Well I stirred it really well and applied it. It streaked and when dry, was full of runs. I phoned Dulux Customer Service who told me I was correct to stir it but should then have left it for half an hour before using. I asked why this information was not on the tin and was told that was down to the Marketing Department, they had been informed after others had complained previously. I had to sand it all off, very difficult because of the oil which had caused the streaking. I then painted another door using the methods recommended by Dulux Customer Care. It was slightly better but still had runs and had to be touched up in places. I am quite experienced at house painting and will never use Dulux paints again.
