Heartless
🤬This emoji does not even begin to describe how awful this company is as a whole!!!! If I could tell anyone two words of advice it would be DON'T USE!!!! These people are the most horrible people that represent any company and have no empathy or understanding for any situation. Let me give you a wonderful story of how absolutely amazing the people at this company are and actually I can't even say it is at the store level but by people like the regional managers representing the company so truly they are worse than having the devil steal your soul!!!!!
Here is my story and I will share with you how understanding the company is!!!! NOT!!! My son was born with a rare INCURABLE BRAIN CONDITION and has survived 2 brain surgeries, my other son has autism so all in all we have had a difficult road to plow with both of their medical conditions. When this company was rentacenter there were actually people working there, not machines, people that understood life happened, but now that is not the case, you see we used to be customers and always had nice dealings with them paid off any items we had with rentacenter, so when we lost everything in 2019 and I do mean everything including our home and had to start off from scratch with new furniture after being without a home for three months due to credit being bad because of all of the time missed from our son's hospital stays we were left with no choice but to rent from Easy home so we would at least have beds for our kids to sleep on and we would as well while we try to rebuild our lives. We let them know that we may be late from time to time as both of us are off from nervous breakdowns and on group benefits from work so we told them we would pay the late fees when we were late. The first month in our account got compromised so we paid what we could then got caught up, then we had an issue with a cheque again paid and got caught up. Tonight we went in to pay the back payment that was owed and let them know that we would pay the balance when we got my cheque in, please keep in mind that we have never dodged their calls, we have always kept open lines of communication with them. We left the store having paid what head office told us we had to pay today to bring us up to date and let them know we would be back to make more of a payment when my cheque came from disability and showed written proof that the cheque had not come in. We told them we would be late but would pay the fees. We apologized but explained that because we are trying to get back on our feet this is what the next few times were going to be like AGAIN WE ALWAYS PAID THE MISSING BALANCES. We left the store and received a phone call from the store asking us to come back...We did and were met with a clerk that said their REGIONAL MANAGER has said OH WELL TOO BAD SO SAD PAY UP NOW!!!! How is this the right way for a company to work. To me this is unacceptable behaviour and truthfully bothered me more than i can even say. When asked what this means she said it means arranging a partial pick up of the furniture to which we responded where are our kids supposed to sleep and she did not know what to say. She bought us a few days and I demanded that the heartless asshole of a Regional manager give me a call ASAP as she tried to plead our case (probably the only okay thing is that the actual clerks and not a member of management go above and beyond for clients) yet he said oh well arrange partial pick up of their items. I have asked for him to call me yet I am still waiting, I have stated how distasteful this company is and that everyone has a boss. The interest rates are insane, whatever we paid them, the fees ridiculous and the term lengths, but now as a mom I sit here and type to the heartless pricks that run this company and state with my whole promise after letting my 8 year old son who has survived more in the past 3 years than most have survived in their entire lives that his dream bed may be taken away because this company has no understanding with their customers. It is truly heart breaking to see him cry knowing that he did nothing and I have tried to work with this company but they have said no we will not help you out with any extensions!!!! What kind of heartless employees do you employ that they cannot understand that there are black, white and GREY matters?! Truly It is unacceptable and I plead with everyone to share this on your social media, to show all of canada how absolutely horrible this company of Easyhome and how proud they should be to put a family who has already been through hell through more hell of upsetting their two children that have already been through hell and back and the oldest still sees 15 drs at sick kids hospital in toronto.
All this over $300.00...
