They changed my booking
I booked a Hyatt Place for Mar 10. Easytobook sent me a confirmation email which I did not review. On Mar 2, I received an email from Easytobook asking for feedback on my stay. This caused me to look at the confirmation which showed a Feb 27 arrival. Called Easytobook and the recording said I needed to email customer care, which I did. I received a form email back saying they received my inquiry and will respond soon. I called the hotel and after some lengthy negotiation, the hotel desk manager was able to call Expedia, obtain a credit and comp me a room for Mar 10. Bottom line is Hyatt got paid for two rooms, Expedia took credit for the error and paid for the unused room and I paid for one room.
Lesson learned....when dealing with any of these hotel bookings, be sure to review the email confirmation. These websites make errors!!
