Worst customer service
Worst customer service. I called in beginning of July to close my credit card and asked how much I have to pay in total to do so. I was told the amount, I paid the amount and the credit card was closed. Two months later I get notified that I still have to pay over 700 AED for the same credit card that I closed! Messages everyday, threats to be sent to Etihad Credit Bureau. I called customer service they said they cannot lodge a complaint. I sent an email to their complain e-mail address they said it's too unsecure and try online banking communication. I went to my online banking and again was redirected to send my complaint to collections complain e-mail address. I sent an e-mail there, no reply obviously. I eventually had to pay the amount, cause well what choice do I have, right? It's incredible how I've been a customer for over 8 years, I call in good faith to ask my total outstanding to close my credit card and than without any notice for 2 months, oh sorry you still have to pay, here some service charges as well and get some threats also. All this time NO ONE actually listened to my complain or even cared to give me a resolution either by e-mail or phone. Will find ways to soon change to another bank for sure.
