Poor quality, poor customer service!
A follow-up to my last post. I received my new auger motor and shaft but chose not to install these parts. Seeing that stove was only on its 3rd bag of pellets I wasn't prepared to start fixing this thing so I ultimately returned it Lowes and was offered their top of the line Englander single auger stove. The new exhaust configuration cost me more time and money but so far so good. Burned 3 bags of pellets each of the past couple weekends with no issues. Anything above a setting of 2 and the fan will cycle itself automatically to dissapate heat build up. Fan is quite loud but tolerable, and after 24 hour burn glass is very dirty and ashes have to be cleaned out. In conclusion, this stove performs much better and gives peace of mind compared to the 2 auger stove

Poor quality, poor customer service!
mine worked fine for four months, and I cleaned it everyday due to allergies. Now it seems the top auger isn't working I will call home depot today to hear their position on why they sell a stove with such a bad reputation and short working period before all h breaks ;loose. People have replaced their wood, propane stoves with the hype that these stoves are the answer to their prayers.
When they work they are great, but 5 months of work before you start to circle the bowl is a really sad performance record. And we kept ours sparkling clean! When it seems too good to be true, applies here, back to wood I guess. NOT ENGLANDER, Vermont CASTINGS has a much better reputation. Too bad I didn't have the Internet before we bought it/

Poor quality, poor customer service!
Longest story short as possible... these stoves STINK! This stove started coding. We went through all of the troubleshooting possible. Tried repeatedly to get through to customer service... always just busy signal. Contacted them through email, received rude responses. Finally on the last night when it coded and I couldn't get it to start up to go through cool off cycle, it caused a fire in my house. Went through the BBB and the Attorney General. The head of customer service went out of his way to avoid us. He lied repeatedly to all people involved, even to the BBB when he stated he wouldn't work with him to get this issue resolved. When in actuality, he never called us back. This stove was FAR less than a year old. It's crap. It was pulled out of the house by the fire department. They awful customer service leader, finally passed us back to The Home Depot for a refund even though there's a tag in the stove which clearly states go back to the manufacturer with any issues on this stove... save your money. this has nothing to do with politics as some people thought to drag into it above. This has nothing to do with our inability to fix the stove or troubleshoot. This has to do with a completely defective stove and a company who produces crap product... then tries to run when you expect them to stand behind it. DON"T waste your money...!

Poor quality, poor customer service!
The Englander pellet stove I got worked great for about a month, ever since it overfeeds and shuts down. I have cleaned it regularly and to no avail.

Poor quality, poor customer service!
i really feel for everyone in here!i have one of these too. there are 3 buttons on the bottom of the control panel low fuel feed, low burn air, air on temp. i don't know why but it's set way to high from them. i set mine to low fuel feed down to 2 with low burn air on 7 or 8 depending on the pellets i'm using air on temp stays on 1other than that maintain it like your car...often!

Poor quality, poor customer service!
I have had the augers go out three times in the 5 months I've owned my England's Summer's Heat. They do not grease the bearings on the auger motors and the augers freeze up. Customer service insists that their bearings do not need grease--wrong! I wil admit though, that they sent me a new motor for the bottom auger, free.

Poor quality no customer service
We have been through 3 stoves since January. The first one would not turn on. Waited on hold 3 different times for almost an hour at a time. The 2nd one came and worked great until last month when it started to squeak. Again no one answers the phone to help us and lowes was giving us an upgrade but it was going to take 11 days. Glad for speedy service.... So WE took the augers out and cleaned it up and got it working so that we could have heat during the WINTER. This should not have had to happen a month after buying it. Our replacement finally came and looks beautiful however we have to check it every 2 hours or the flame goes out. The auger is in an odd spot and the pellets don't slide down into it. I have to get up in the middle of the night and mess with it. Absolute crap! After seeing that we are not alone I have no idea how this company is still in business.

stay away from enlander stoves
Stove less than 10 years old and almost every part has been replaced. Some 2 or 3 times already. website useless. Customer service even worse! bought parts off ebay for half the price on most parts.Just had to order ANOTHER hopper lid switch. replacing parts is almost same as what we paid for the piece of crap. Hopefully this is our last winter with it. Please anyone looking at these stoves, keep looking! wish there were 10,000 complaints so we all could sue them!!! yes talked to a lawyer so fed up with this stove and idiots at customer service.

englander smoke n sear
after a year or so my auger motor started shearing the cotter pin. I spent 121 minutes (total ) on hold. numerous days to return email. and those very few and far between. I attempted to fix this issue many times and is the reason I reached out to the company. it has been a waste of time. this issue started in November 2018 and it is now 12-28-18 and I have had to rent a smoker twice due to mine not working. 121 MINUTES!!!!!!!!
