irregularities in billing
I too, am appalled by the lack of customer service shown by enmax. After not receiving bills to my new business for 2 months my power was cut off without a phone call. When I contacted enmax they said they could not help me without an account number, which I did not have because I had not received a bill to my new address. After several phone calls to multiple managers I was informed that my electricity would be reconnected in 24 to 48 hours. That was 3 days ago and I have now been informed that it is actually only 2 business days for Enmax, as they do not work on Sundays. My business runs on Sundays. I will be without power for 4 or more days now and am still unsure of my "place" in their "first come first served" system and none of their agents can tell me that either. They have disconnected me twice during phone calls most recently at 445 today. When I called back their office was closed. Enmax is the worst company I have ever dealt with and if an alternative arrives I will be first in line.

disconnection
To Whom it may concern,
I am complaining for the disconnection at 46 Hawkville Close NW Calgary Alberta. i have spoken with someone last month over the situation that i am in that i consider delicate. i have small children in the house and i have one of my sons who is handicapped with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy who is taking medication for seizure, i have mentioned that to an employee there when we discussed a payment plan. i have sent two cheques for the amount that i owe and still get my electricity disconnected.
the kids are frustrated and panicked over that. and i am afraid that if my son would have a seizure in the middle of the night and need some attention that it will be difficult for me to attend to him.
I do not know what else you want me to do, since i only can pay that amount when i get my pay cheque and that is why i sent those 2 cheques.
I am not looking for pity, but for understanding of a situation that concerns me.
And if you think that you have the right to do what you did for whatever reason, please remove this complaint. i am sure that i can find the strenght to deal with the situation one way or another.

they have bad service
Enmax sucks they take from the poor so that they can fill their already over flowing pocket's . I am a single mother of four and had to skip Christmas because they put a load limiter on my house right before charismas. And the account is paid in full and they are still taking their sweet time taking it off .when I called they told me to pay my bills. I told her that I could do that if the fathers of my four children paid me then their would be no problem in paying. and last but not least they never gave me a notice of cut off. as of feb 1st I am going to switch to direct energy
