Toll Violation and $15 Admin fee b/c no one returns phone call
I, also, am in the same situation. My toll was paid and I received a letter almost two months later claiming that THEY paid it. Enterprise mailed it to my previous address, which really set me off because my license at the time of rental reflected that address. When I gave them my utility bill, in order to use a debit card; I was met with a sharp, "Yeah, this doesn't match your address on the license so either you can move your reservation to tomorrow (the day my family was celebrating Christmas) or you can go to the DMV to get a new license." Mind you, when I made the reservation I was told nothing of my current license needing to match my utility bill, the sales guy claimed otherwise. I went to the DMV, got a brand new license with my current address and all was well. One would think that since I had to go to all of that trouble they would update their records. Now, due to the fact that Enterprise failed to update their records (even though my contract was issued to my CURRENT address) - I am stuck with a $15 charge. I also think it's so convenient that the letter was dated 1/25/12 and it states that my card will be charged 15 days after the letter issue...because they, once again, FAILED to send it to the correct address, I received the letter 12 days after the issue date; leaving me with 3 days until the charge. I will literally NEVER USE ENTERPRISE again, this was the worst experience and receiving this letter just confirmed it.

Beware of the 'damage' scam being run by Enterprise
"If anything happens to the car while in your possession, Enterprise will charge you for it, even when it's not your fault."
All rental companies do this.
"After getting home, I started checking around the internet about Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and I discovered several hundred complaints from across the United States. From a number of different websites. Almost all of these on-line complaints were very similar to my complaint. "
That's called SEO.

Address (not PO Box) for Damage Recovery Unit for Denver Rental
My complaint in reference to a Damage Recovery Office is long; the upshot is Enterprise made a very large error in charging me for hail damage I did not cause and I'd like to mail my response to the Damage Recovery Unit. However, the only address provided is a PO Box and I want to send my letter by certified mail. Please provide an appropriate address. Thanks! -Lisa

illegal and deceptive business
This company does illegal business against their customers! I rented a car and when I returned it back two their employees checked it and didn't find any damages, and I used this car very carefully but in one week I received a call from their manager said that they found a damage and I had to pay for it. This is not legal and not honest! Beware of this company and be careful if you still want to deal with them!

Enterprise took my $17000 Leica M8.2 camera
I returned the rental car to Enterprise Long Beach Airport location in LA.
After that I took flight to San Francisico. I realized I left my Leica M8.2 camera in the car, with a flash in a Marc by Marc Jocob bag. I've called so many times to make sure the camera is safe
and sound. However, one simple thing they could have done which is just go into the car and check, instead of that, they just kept me
Waiting for their call. I worried about the camera so much and I just kept calling to see if there was any news. I'm pretty damn sure the camera is IN THAT CAR! Then I was told that their driver has taken the car was taken to the service, oil change stuff. So they were unable to check and I had to wait until next day. "As long as long we have more information, we will give you a call." I've been hearing that for thousands of times!!! But they never called me!!'
I called this morning, no news, the car is still in service.
I called this noon, oops. They said that they have checked the car and there was no camera.
Well then must be someone from their company took the camera, either the drive or man from the service department I don't know. I just want my camera back.
They should understand that there must be people from their company took it and they can't just cover for them!!! I want my camera back!! Son of bitch!!!
I will keep complain Enterprise online and I already called 911.

Toll scam
Enterprise rental is running a scam with toll violations... They pay? a fake violation from a tollway ipass history list. There is no history of a tollway violation with ipass. If a toll lane is not working correctly, and you paid cash, it will show not paid in Enterprise ipass history, because the light did not turn green. Total scam! Yes I do have proof and inside info. Report them to the Illinois State Attorney Office. I spend thousands of dollars with company, NOT ANYMORE! Spread the word... Mr. Wilson

Got caught in Enterprise toll scam, too!
Had to get a rental car a couple months back as some clueless driver smashed into my rear while texting. The closest rental place to the shop was Enterprise, so I used them. Don't really have much to complain about as far as service is concerned, however I also got hit weeks later with a toll citation notice.
I received a letter in the mail that looked like it was going to be junk mail, but before I threw it out i opened it to be sure. Come to find out that Enterprise said they paid a $1.50 toll while I was renting their car. For their inconvenience they decided to tack on another $14.00....isn't that convenient? So, now I'm sitting on a bill for $15.50 that I WILL NOT BE PAYING.
Long story short I have an Ipass transponder and have proof of every transaction from the last few years. The money for the toll was deducted from my account at the same time and plaza that the "citation" occurred. I sent an email to the link provided on their form with PDF file attached to prove my payment and tell them I have no intention of paying this bill.
Seeing that Enterprise was shady enough to try to scam me on some bogus "toll violation" I decided to check my credit card account and make sure they refunded my deposit for the rental. It looks like the deposit was refunded, however, I noticed there is a fresh pending charge for $15.50! I have yet to get a response from their "customer service" representatives, but i can assure you I WILL NOT BE PAYING THIS BILL.
I really don't rent a car very often, but I have many friends and family that do. I will be sure to let everyone know how Enterprise treats their customers.
