This tax service is a scam about being free. Only until I clicked to electronically submit our return on the etax.com website did I find out the filing was not free. In order to submit the return to IRS I had to select the etax deluxe version that costs $29.99! When I called etax.com to inquire about this charge, I was informed that because we submitted forms 1099-R and SSA1099, we were not eligible for the free version as the free version is only for those submitting only W-2 for income! Definitely will not use this site in 2019 as I do not trust that I will get the help, if needed, after filing my return through their website and that etax.com may withdraw more than $29.99 out of my credit card account. And I cannot print the return I have just paid to file!
