$700 Jacket Discoloured & Worn Out
Fabric pro jsut called me to inform me that they have lost the zipper on my winter jacket, and say they cannot do anything to it. I was shocked! How to wear during my trip to Japan next week, without zipping up? When question, she just says: pls read clause number 7 on the back of the receipt. It states they will not be responsible for velcro and zippers giving way.
I was totally disgusted with this and refused to accept this.
I called the customer service and they say the same thing. Told them to inform the manager to call me. She says she will only try to get hold of the manager, but no guarantee.
At this point, I only believe that CASE can assist.
Also, no matter how much or what it is going to cost me, I want FP to be responsible. Trust that I have been supporting them for years due to my overseas travel and frequent laundry services needed. Consumers need to be protected in Singapore!

Fabric pro has bitten off more than it can chew
I have only used Fabricpro Dryclean and Laundry Services twice. Let me recount my two experiences matter of factly and you can be the judge. First visit was to wash a jacket that I need for an overseas trip. Collection date was one week before my supposed departure date. I went a day after the collection date indicated on the receipt and the staff told me that it wasn't ready and she cannot guarantee when it will be ready. She told me that many items that were sent before my item aren't ready as well, and to prove it she showed me her tracking list. She told me to call the head office as she has been chasing for the outstanding items for her outlet but to no avail. As I was desperate to get the jacket before my trip, I agreed to chase the head office. The lady at head office took my contact details and agreed to call me back within 20 mins and when I didn't receive a call till the next day, I called again. Another person answered the call and told me that they couldn't find my jacket and said that it could have been mixed up with other items. As I panicked, it dawned upon me that the lady did not ask for my receipt number. When I asked if we are talking about the same jacket, she replied confidently "yes. East point right?". I sighed a breathe of relief as I sent my jacket to Hougang Mall. To cut the story short, I got my jacket back 3 days late after many painstaking calls.
Second visit was to wash curtains. Learning from the first experience, I visited the outlet to collect my curtains 3 days after the indicated collection date. When i reached the outlet, the shutters were down with a sign - meal break. Will be back at 12.40pm. I waited till 1pm and no one showed up. When the person finally showed up, I was informed that the curtains weren't ready. Again, the staff alluded that I should call head office as she cannot succeed in chasing them.
You may ask why don't I call to find out if the items are delivered before I make a trip down. I did. I called no less than 10 times at different timings on different days but each time no one answered the call. How else to know if the items are ready other than to go to the outlet. Who is going to compensate me for the transport costs?
The service in my opinion is not at all reliable. Where is the pro in Fabricpro? I may never have the answers but I do know that they have lost one customer for good. I don't think they will mind since their business is so good that they cannot turn around things within the promised time.

Avoid at all costs!
My first experience with Frabricpro is a total disaster and it shall be my last with them. I sent 8 pieces of my clothing for drycleaning in mid February and waited for at least 1 month before I have them back to me. Despite that they listed that it will take 5 days for the drycleaning, the staff only told me that they need 2 weeks when I paid for the services due to the chinese new year season and they have to clear backlog.
My clothing was supposed to be backed end February and I received an sms, advising me that there is a delay for 3 - 5 days and they will update me when the clothing ae ready for collection at the outlet. I waited for 10 days and nothing heard. I went to the outlet and was attended by a part-time staff who works only on weekends. She told me my clothing are not back yet and she assured me that she will check with the factory the next day (Monday) and update me on the status. I waited for the entire day and receive no call. I called the outlet the next day and spoke to another person, she advised me that my clothing are not back at the outlet and she will call the factory to check and update me. I waited for another 4 hours and call the outlet again, this time round, I am attended by another staff and was given the same reply, clothing are not back and she will check with the factory and update me.
I sent an enquiry on the Fabricpro website on the 11 March and decided to call the hotline and factory directly. The line finally get through after 15 mins and I was again told they need to check and will call me back. I refused and requested to be put on hold after recounting to the 4th staff that I have so far not received any return calls from the past 3 staffs that I have spoken to. After holding on for another 10 mins, I was told that my colthing should have been sent to the outlet on 1 March. The staff promised to call me back in 5 mins after checking with the outlet. I waited for yet aother 30 mins and call the hotline again, I spoke to the 5th staff, Janelle and was told that my clothing might be sent to the wrong outlet and they need to check with the various outlets. She promised to call me later in the day to update me. About 1 hour later, I received a call from Janelle, (finally someone who honour the promise to return call) and updated me that my clothing will be back in the outlet the next day for collection.
Throughout the entire ordeal, except with Janelle, the rest of the staff were indifference and show no empathy or effort to rectify the problem. If tou read through their terms and conditions, the company is well proctected and you cannot demand decent compensation from them even if they damage or misplaced your clothing. Do not be fooled by their seemingly professional outlet and website. I will go back to my humble neighbourhhod drycleaner who might charge slightly higher fee but do not demand advance payment, notify you if they damage your clothing and is willing to compensate for the damage. At least I can count on him to have my dry cleaning in back in time.

Missing items twice!!!
This is the second time I have sent my clothes into FabricPro for drycleaning.
The first time, my Armani Exchange top with an inner lining came back with only the inner lining, The second time my winter jacket came back without the belt.
I called the shop and customer service several times but they are of no help at all.
I WILL NEVER RETURN TO FABRICPRO, TO AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Fabric pro really sucks
They refused to answer calls after a problem and even the staff says their boss is like a tortoise. Hides whenever there is trouble and lets her staff handle all the backlash
