Coin Rippoff
This October 30, 2011 posting by "Ripped Off CoinBuyer" is virtually identical to postings by the same person regarding two other Texas based retail coin companies made on the same day. Additionally, these postings are virtually identical to a previous posting regarding another Texas based retail coin company. It is obvious these postings are copied and pasted with a few minor changes. Certainly, this is the work of an unscrupulous competitor attempting to utilize this site to publish defamatory statements. These are the types of anonymous postings that should be removed by moderators.

Ripoff
I bought 4 coins from this company in January. After getting hammered with phone calls by one of their brokers, I decided to shop around a little. It turns out that their so-called “rare coins” are very common. I overpaid by almost $1200. What a rip. Stay clear of this company. As far away as possible.

Ripoff
I would like to report a scam involving First Fidelity Reserve. I purchased a total of 4 gold coins from the company back in January of this year, totaling more than $2000. When the “broker” didn’t stop with his incessant calling, I started shopping around and found a local coin dealer in my area. The so-called collectibles I purchased turned out to be a dime a dozen. They had the same coins for a fraction of the price. I asked the local dealer to appraise what I have. It turns out that the value totaled a mere $890 for all 4 coins.
This floored me. I feel like a real sucker.
Is there anything that can be done at this point? First Fidelity is advertising through AMAC. This disturbs me even more, knowing that they are scamming seniors and retirees.
