Formal Services: con artists, didn't show up at my wedding

Please beware. Formal Services aka Oknewski Photography / Shane Oknewski / Alycia Oknewski are con artists. I hired these people to take photos and dj at my wedding and 4 days before the event they cancelled and said they wouldn't come. I had my friend call they and book them for the same day and they agreed to be there! Crooks! Their fb status showed that they attended some event the night before my wedding, so all their excuses had been lame. Shane promised to return the money I paid, but I'm still waiting for it.

He never showed up

It was my biggest mistake that I had made a payment before the job was completed. We hired a guy named Shane from Formal Services to memorize our wedding. We have made an appointment with him, paid the sum, and were waiting for him on the day of our marriage. Shane never came. We are so devastated. Luckily, there was a friend among our guests who made really great pictures for us.
But we are very disappointed with Formal Services. We will never deal with them again, and now we are thinking how to get our money back.

Didn't come to the event

we had set up the date when the photographers from formal services would come to shoot my gf's birthday. then they call me the day before it and say that cant come, I had no time to find other photographers. I found out that they were actually shooting another event that evening.
They are a scam stay away from them! worst people ever!

alycia and shane took a 700.00 payment for an event and 30 min after the event was to start texted they had car trouble. NO SHOW. When we contacted them they said they would NOT give back the money.
