Terrible company!
At April 28, arriving at the airport Charles de Gaulle, I went to the RELAY shop and bought a Orange Holiday SIM card, a 20 GB package, paying 40 euros, number +33630316927.
I installed it in my phone, Sim card started works, I liked it and I bought a second SIM card for my wife, number +33630316843.
Both sims worked exactly a day.
The next day (04/29/2019) they stopped working, a text message arrived that I had to go through authorization and send my passport to the website of the Orange.Fr. we did it, but the sims did not work.
We turned to the Orange shop at 125 Av. Des Champs-Élysées, they gave us the number we were supposed to call, we started dialing, we had to wait 15 minutes for communication.
After the operators began to take and transfer calls to each other, we were given the right operator. we explained our problem, she said that she needed a person who speaks French. We again came to the store Orange 125 Av. des Champs-Élysées, waited in line and gave the manager, who began to speak French and explain our problem and what to do.
The conversation lasted more than 30 minutes.
Finally, they explained to him what to do, he filled out a questionnaire and said that he would send a telecom to the head office of the Orange, but they would unblock Sim card in 2 days (!!!).
There were other foreigner tourists in the queue at the store (they were from China) who bought the same packages of the Orange Telecom at the airport and their SIMs were also blocked.
the store filled in the questionnaire 04/29/2019, they said that they would unblock it within 2 days, that is, until May 1.
May 1, our sims did not work.
May 2 in the morning we left for Barcelona, the sims did not work.
Upon arrival in Barcelona, they checked the sims, they did not work.
As a result, we had to buy new SIM cards in Barcelona, these were Vodafone’s 15 GB packages, which we used when we returned to Paris on May 11.
I remembered that last time I used the sim card of the Vodafone and they worked well everywhere.
I think that Orange Telecom is such a big company that it doesn’t give a damn about all the customers, because it sells left (singed) SIM cards at the airport and everywhere, in the hope that tourists coming to Paris will not complain if cards will not work.
Imagine if they sell 100,000 cards at 40 euros, it makes 4,000,000 euros. And if you sell 1,000,000 cards at 40 euros, it makes 40 million euros.
Such large companies as Orange do not care about customers, they are so bureaucratic companies that it is impossible to reach them.
Why in any country of the world travel SIM cards work normally - in Russia, China, Turkey, USA, Germany, Spain, Georgia, Thailand, India, Indonesia, and only in France do they sell non-working cards?
And the largest telecom company of France sells and not somewhere in dumb streets, but at Charlie de Gaulle airport ???
I do not advise anyone to buy sim cards from Orange!
Buy Vodafone SIM card!
I know that the answer to the orange telecom will be the standard answer of the bureaucratic company - we regret that it happened, we didn’t want, sorry, we are thinking about how to do better, let us give you money back, and so on.
Dear morons in this company! I lost 6-7 hours of my precious time in Paris, running between the stores and filling out all sorts of questionnaires.
Should I lose my time filling out such questionnaires? Can't you just buy and use SIM cards?
I do not wish the prosperity of your company, I wish that in France there will be many small telecom companies that will work very well!
I do not advise anyone to buy sim cards from Orange!
Buy Vodafone SIM card!
