suspended my account by mistake, this caused a loss of money
I was chosen for a job and an employer paid me $260 for it. Then freelancer.com suspended my account all of a sudden and reversed the payment. They fixed that but said I have to contact that employer to get paid again. The employer doesn't answer. I have no idea how to get the money back.

Beware of this website, I hired a guy from there who begged me for the project. I paid him hundred euros in advance. He never done anything and started to make excuses that his grandfather died and so on. All the good responses on his profile at freelancer.com were fake. Beware!

AVOID AVOID AVOID
They are totally LOUSY site and service. I have some material and we are thinking of opening a website to share all the bad experience. Freelancer.com SUCKS big time. They have 24 email support so that they just respond for the sake of responding. The email response in 8 of 10 times is wrong and incomplete because they just jump to respond for the sake of responding.
TERRIBLE. vWorker was alot better.
Totally oriented towards their profit and doesnt care about customers.
Their email support is one of the worst I've seen in the past 15 years of using internet. They just respond like they have a match to play and like they have a target to achieve by responding within 2-3 hours of receiving my questions. Then the response I get on almost all of the tickets is incomplete. Then, I have to have at least two more rounds of emails so that I can get what I need. They truly truly lack proper professional approach and customer support. Imagine if companies were giving support like this in an airplane, or imagine if Apple was giving this kind of support? Can you imagine? I cannot.
They introduce new features affecting business. The sole purpose of the features is so that they make more money.
If you ever think to go in dispute, DONT!!! We had a project in dispute transferred from vWorker. We lost. THEY DONT CARE. They dont feel obliged to help and carry to the end. vWorker would have done everything necessary so that the project was complete and money in escrow were delivered.
