I saw your comment here and I wanted to reach out and apologize on behalf of Sears Cares for what happened with the service on your appliance. Faulty product experience

Dryer caught fire
Our first figidaire dryer(3 and half years ago) caught fire at 4:oo AM while we were sleeping. We were lucky that I was awoken by my dog and the smell of smoke, so the damage was confined to smoke damage and local discoloration of the paint on our washing machine. We subsequentially purchased a similiar machine Frigidaire (insurance covered the cost totally) and we had another fire. The machine was just turned on, a grinding noise was hear, and the machine was turn off, then fire was seen in the back of the machine. We had a fire extingisher in the laundry room and were able to put out the fire immediately.

Dryer caught fire
Eight weeks ago my Frigidaire dryer caught on fire, burned my home as well as doing significant smoke damage to my home. I was one dryer load away from going to bed. My toddlers bedroom sits above the garage where the fire started and sustained significant damage. Thankfully we were awake and were able to get out of the home. My toddler has been traumatized by this event. Frigidaire is lucky the fire did not harm my son...especially knowing there are issues with their dryers. SHAME ON YOU.

frigidaire electric range GLASS TOP IMPLODED
I PURCHASED A FRIGIDAIRE ELECTRIC RANGE MODEL FEFL79FCB TO REPLACE OUR AGING RANGE GE. MY WIFE WHO LOVES TO COOK WAS EXCITED TO HAVE A GLASS TOP RANGE (FRIGIDAIRE) AND AT FIRST IT DID EVERYTHING THAT WE EXPECTED. HOWEVER THAT SOON ENDED ONE MORNING WHEN SHE WAS PREPARING BREAKFAST THE LEFT FRONT BEGIN TO HEAT AND DID NOT STOP UNTIL IT FRACTURED THE GLASS TOP. IT BECAME SO HOT THAT WE HAD TO OPEN DOORS AND WINDOWS AN FANS TO CLEAR THE SMOKE. ALSO TURNING THE DIAL TO OFF AND OFF AND ON DID NOTHING TO TURN ELEMENT OFF. THIS SCARED AND SADDEN MY WIFE BECAUSE HER NEW RANGE WAS A BROKEN PIECE OF JUNK. I EVEN LOOKED INTO REPLACING THE PARTS MYSELF BUT THE COST AND WHAT I READ THAT THIS COULD POSSIBLY HAPPEN AGAIN ( WHICH THIS PROBLEM SEEMS COMMON). I WORKED HARD FOR THE MONEY TO PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT FOR HER AND I ASK YOU WOULD YOU TAKE THE CHANCE WITH YOUR MONEY TO BUY A PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN, NOT ME. I HAVE ONLY TAKEN THE TIME TO WRITE THIS TO HOPEFULLY HELP SOMEONE ELSE. I WISH I HAD THIS INFORMATION BEFORE THIS PURCHASE. ROBIN GALAX, VA
