Same thing happened to my husband today, 2/15/12, said that he had been "served" and paperwork was being sent to the Tolland Superior Court today. Little did this scam artist know, I worked in law for 15 years so he was messing with the wrong family. Checked all the court records for Small Claims, Family, Motor Vehicle, Housing and Civil and nothing is listed in my husband's name as a pending case. If you need to check, go to your Judicial District's site and you can enter your name to see if anything has been filed against you. Don't immediately presume you are in trouble.

This same situation happened to me yesterday. Someone from FS Group calling herself Jill Miller called my place of employment stating she was a client. After I didn't come to the phone she called my cell number and left me 2 voicemails that I was in legal trouble regarding "several different matters" and that I have been legally notified. When I called the company back with my file number they stated there is no employee named Jill Miller. I spoke with a supervisor named Greg Wright who refused to give me any information on the company. He stated there were legal processors out looking for me to serve me with court paperwork.

Unbelievable! The same thing just happened to me (3/21/12). A family member called me and told me a guy named "Samuel King" was looking for me over "cases that were pending". I called the number and they wanted me to verify my information. I would not do it and starting asking for their information. They would not even give me their mailing address saying it was not given for security reasons. I told them I was not giving them my information for the same reason and if they were looking for me they could easily find me. If I have done something legally wrong, I am not hiding and could be found. I went on to tell them if they do serve me in the correct manner which was not by telephone then I would be more than happy to see them in court. I will not be a victim to a company who spends their time scaring people by using legal words to get money from people who do not owe it. Always be aware of who you are dealing with because people are not always who they say they are. Know you rights.

i have been contacted by this company aswell, today and it caught me off balance. then when i called them beck and started speaking with some common since they aggresively stated then i would be going to court and told me i have till 5pm today, theen hung up. wow are they really serious!!!

Company called my mother who is dying from emphysema and got my number. I spoke to them and they claimed I owed on a payday loan and they would settle for 3 x the amount of the loan. I pulled my bank records and gave them the date of the payday loan as well as the date I paid it back. I asked them if I could fax it to them and they said no, they didn't take faxes. I asked for their address with the idea of filing a complaint and they would not give that out. I told them they have to send me something in writing from their company when they asked for my account to make a settlement. They told me they only serve summons for court, and did not give out fax numbers or address

I too got a call from this group. They called my phone to give a message to my mother. They said she was facing a "failure to appear" warrant on a 7 year old debt. They couldn't give out any information as to WHO to contact to make arrangements or talk to. I "called their bluff" when I called them frauds as well as scammers. They said they had received the DEBT last week, and had made 2 attempts to serve a summons to an address we have not resided at for OVER 6 years. In addition, I looked on our court website, there is NO PENDING action against my mother. Shady joint. Will be filing a complaint with them. Also, the phone number they called was issued to me at my new residence just last year.

I received a phone call this am not only on my cell, but my mother received a call and another person in my office received a call saying I had several different pending matters and that there was a process server or locator out looking for me. When I called the number back, the person I spoke with would not tell me any information regarding their company, would not give me an address or fax number and would only give me information stating that I owed a pay day loan and I was defrauding a bank. They would not give me the bank name. After several heated words I finally got a name of a company supposedly I defrauded and breached the contract with. Not only have I never heard of this company, but I cannot locate them on the website. I have tried several different searches to find an address for FS Law Group and have been unsuccessful. Does anyone have any other information? This is BS. I was given the choice ...either rectify now or go to court if you want to dispute. That is not how the collection process works. I chose the dispute way. We will see if they send me to court.
Any information anyone has regarding telephone number or address would be most helpful.

My parents received a call from this company stating there was a pending warrant for their granddaughter in Morgan County. They left the number 855-266-6717 for her to call back. When I called the number, I received a voice mail that asked to leave my niece's information. I did not do that. I called Morgan County where my niece is from and they have no such warrant, nor have they ever heard of this company. This company is a fraud and they are trying to get money from people. They are trying to get your personal information. Hang up! Any legal matter will be handled in the proper way, not by a phone call from a company that cannot verify who they are.
