Selling goods they don’t actually have
I had a quick look on their website and I think it's pretty easy to tell which products are in stock and which ones are not. You just have to read the info properly - if in doubt, give them a call!

Delivery options - unsatisfactory
I just spoke with a representative about purchase of a keyboard case. I was informed that delivery is via courier, in this cases TNT. TNT do not offer a time slot, so a whole day of the customer's time is potentially wasted, waiting for an item. This has cost you my business, as I would have unquestionably bought the item concerned, had the delivery option been acceptable. Private individuals do not have a goods inwards department, which is where most but not all courier services fail. Please bear in mind in these matters that the customer is the person receiving the goods, not yourselves as the shipper. The best option is not to offer an unsatisfactory courier, but offer the customer at the receiving end delivery options, albeit with different delivery charges if applicable. These aspects do materially affect willingness to buy and ultimately the company's reputation in the marketplace. The cost of the item concerned (Code 67149) was £79.99, which is similar to the price of a pair of shoes. I would not stay in a whole day for items of that sort of value, so why does buying an item via mail order/online/over the phone need to cost so much of the customers time? It ought not to. Using TNT, as opposed to a courier offering timeslots, frankly, is a mistake and is failing the customer. As a private individual, the only delivery options that make sense are a courier which does a time slot, or Royal Mail.

Complain Return
Hi. January 8, 2020. I bought the Shure SRH440 headphones. Unfortunately, they did not meet my expectations and I sent them back in accordance with the instructions I received from gear4music. Return No. 824016. On January 9, I sent the package by DPD courier No. 013843332. On January 21, 2020, I received information that it will take 5 to 10 days to return. They also stopped responding to my emails. Today is February 1 and I am still waiting for a refund. For the second time I am disappointed with customer service in this form and I strongly advise against using Gear4music services. The store is nice and well-stocked, but the online service is at a very low level and has no respect for the ordinary customer.
