General Aluminum windows described above for 3 winters have had extreme sweating and ice to the extent of sill damage
First of all windows do not sweat on there own... The sweat comes from too much humidity in the home or a sudden drop in temperature.
We replaced our windows from vinyl to General Aluminum 2700 thermal break frame. Best windows ever they do not sweat and the sound transmission is great.. Love my GA windows.

Poor Customer Service
General Aluminum installed our windows in our house 14 years ago, one of the windows never really closed correctly. I called today to see if they would be interested in coming our to give an estimate to replace that window. You would think they would jump at the chance to replace an bad window that they installed and get paid again for that same window. They said there is a $45 non-refundable, non-transferable charge to come out and measure the window.
Recommend no one use GA.
