SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!
I just finished my first semester at the GAA in Az and will not be going back. I Am an older man who has owned company's for 30 years and can't stand the little shit ass kids that get an extension on there beer drinking abilities and hack into the schools student portal to change tee times so they can play with there friends.. the pros are not available to give enough time to get better.the tee times are designed so you have a very limited time to play.and the little shitheads even drink on the golf course .I have asked a lot of people at golf courses around the Vally the GAA is a joke one manager told me he rips up and throws away any applications from the gaa .im too old to go to PGA school although i love golf the recruiter there led me to believe that the school would help me find a career in the industry well 8 bucks an hour? i was making that 35 years ago? WTF

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!
I have attended the GAA Phoenix campus for 1 semester and currently attending my 2nd. I know that there have been previous comments, whether agreeing or disagreeing, and you can take from it what you want. My experience has been fantastic so far. I will admit it is a risk for an associates degree, however you are taught so much by some of the best golf professionals in the world. If you come to this school with an attitude of, "I'm wasting $33, 000 for an associates degree", you will probably have a poor experience because you are looking for reasons to justify your attitude. There are some problems with communication between students and instructors on some levels, but not in the ways that previous comments have said. I'm not saying that they haven't happened, I'm just saying they haven't happened to me. Every business wants employee's who have a passion for their work, knowledge of their work, and the ability to show that passion and knowledge. This school does an amazing job at preparing you for the golf industry as well as other opportunities. I myself was a former professional football player and after an unfortunate injury I had to look at another career. This school spoke to me and after a cross-country move, I thank that night when I saw the commercial and applied. If you have a true passion for golf, THIS SCHOOL IS FOR YOU! If you want to be above and beyond most golf professionals, THIS SCHOOL IS FOR YOU! If you are unsure about attending, contact any campus and just talk to them. I had several questions about this school and YES they sold me on it, but that was because I saw that this school could offer me a job where I get to do what I love. The Golf Academy of America is not a scam. It's a legit school! If you didn't like your experience, I'm sorry that you didn't. I hope you succeed in another way, however don't say that the GAA is a scam when their not. If it was a scam, how are they still in business? Why are their commercials on the Golf Channel, which won't just put any commercial on there. How come so many have succeeded after graduating? You get what you put into it, plain and simple. For future readers. Please don't let these comments effect your decision on coming. Do your own research and talk to former graduates. Talk to Golf Courses, Every one of them will want someone taught the things this school offers. I hope you will realize all of these comments are OPINIONS and none of them are right or wrong. We are entitled to our own opinion and I encourage people to express it, but don't let our opinions encourage yours. Find out yourself. Here's the number of the GAA Phoenix campus(480) 857- 1574. Talk to Tim X, Fred Barr, or any one of their amazing staff. Heck talk to the current students. Schedule a visit and see it up close and personal. I hope to see you soon at school.
