Failure to honor insurance claim
Approximate ONE YEAR after filing the original claim with them, I finally got a "good will" refund of $500 from GSEW after I complained long and loud via several consumer complaints venues. This represented the amount I had already paid out of pocket in excess of my deductible. One year is a ridiculously long time, and I am tired of dealing with businesses who treat customers like dirt. Even though they eventually sent me the coverage amount I paid for, I will NOT recommend Good Sam Extended Warranty service to anybody. Ever. Under any circumstances.

Good Sam Extended Service Plan Ripoff
I have had the Good Sam Extended Service Plan for several years. Recently we sold our RV and I contacted Good Sam to cancel our extended service plan. I was told by the representative during that call that my plan was cancelled and that the money I had been charged for that month would be refunded. Today while checking my credit card account I noticed another charge from Good Sam and I contacted them once again. This time I was told that I would need to complete a transfer form so they could obtain information about the buyer before they could cancel my policy. I did not have all of the information that the form required so I called Good Sam once more. This time I was advised that I would have to pay a cancellation fee of fifty dollars if I could not provide all of the information that was requested on the transfer form. I was finally able to get a verbal reassurance that the policy was cancelled but Good Sam would not reimburse me for the monthly payment and the cancellation fee was twenty five dollars. I want to advise anyone that has the Good Sam Extended Service Plan that getting fair treatment in the event that you need to cancel will not occur. I suggest that any potential customer of the Good Sam Extended Service Plan not renew their policy to avoid the headaches that I have experienced.

cancellation request
I purchased 2016 Forest River 2715Vs on April 22, 2019 camper world Draper which included service. Do to health reasons we sold unit June 6, 2020. Since then I have spent untold hours trying to cancel service. they did e-mail Cancel request. over a month ago. I e-mailed to Cody as requested with copy of Bank Pay Off. I e-mailed him several times asking for progress, NO response. Talked to Mike Sale Manger last week he said he would on and get back to me. Tried to call him he is never available, receptionists e-mailed him to contact me. I have bought 2 RVS from camper world in the past. alwqys seemed to get good service in past.
