gpd investments,director lee wiggins ,conman,theif ,conned hundreds of investors in a project in dubai called international city ,drained the escrow accounts ,current project empire heights ,i wouldnt touch this man with a barge pole
he has operated in all the companes below ,no suprse they keep shutting down ,the list is below .be aware off new company carbonu limited he is a director of this company along with a man called petter setterfield Carbon limited recently formed in June 2012

Hi All,
I have invested in GPD Investments, Dubai International City Phase III for a 1 bedroom apartment with a 30% down payment.
After 2 years of initial deposit I went to visit the site in 2010 and there was only one floor built in no where land with just few pillar columns. So far nothing was built after that. When asked for the refund or handover the apartment key I was turned down saying to seek legal assistance. Lee Wiginns and their associates are all bunch of cheats, day light thief and his company employees also need to be legally questioned and punished for their support of this fraudulent activities.
How on earth Lee Wiggins is able to survive after committing this planned robbery on innocent hard working individuals. Many of us would have sacrificed many things in our life and saved the deposit money and invested but this low guy Lee Wiggins cheated all of us and funding the money in building Empire Heights plus his lavish activities like horse riding. Even a road beggar does some physical activity to get his plate of meal but this bugger cowardly snatched all of our money to fill his appetite.
Lee Wiggins should feel shame to live such a low life like this and funding his family and his activities in this way is disgraceful activity and should be named and shamed. He is a waste of space and should be legally punished, all his assets need to be seized.
Don't ever anybody invest in GPD, Empire Heights, or any companies that Lee Wiggins involved.

I invested through my SIPP under direction of Peter Ronald in this bogus development. James Hay a so called investment professional claims it has done due diligence on my investment. To date i have had no share certificate and no accounts despite asking for this for 4 years now.
The following individuals and organisations you need to be very careful when dealing with them, they lie and it appears have embezzled investments :
Peter Ronald from Helmlake Financial services and Sphere , has invested countless individuals savings etc £1.6 in total through GPD investments, this has all gone to pot. Ronald is a liar and a thief
Lee Wiggins who runs GPD investments is in cahoots with Peter Ronald , these individuals deal in threats
James Hay from Salisbury a so called financial services company, has acted as co trustee for the sipp investment for myself and countless other under direction from Peter Ronald. This company is also in cahoots with Peter Ronald. They say they have conducted due diligence yet they have no supplied me with a share certificate or accounts despite charging me each year a fee. I have told them on countless occasions that the investment must be bogus .
all three have been reported to the FSA ombudsmen and the Fraud Squad all investors with Peter Ronald will not rest until justice is served.

Likewise re Helmlake, and Sphere money handed over as thought dealing with credible company, the trustees are completely clueless I have started appeal with FSA and suddenly Sphere have appeared out of the woodwork trying to get into dialogue, too late, they can speak with FCS?FSA
A small ammount by some peoples standards but a lot of savings for me19809

Anything with the word Dubai in it means a total write off, because there are literally thousands of uncompleted or even un started property developments and most investors are wising up to the fact that the law does not support them.
Peter Ronald doesn't want his victims to contact this Lee Wiggins directly is a desperate attempt to hide his own crooked dealings.
You can be sure Wiggins has a completely opposing story which would lay the blame for the fraud directly at Peter Ronald 's door, this will result in Peter Ronald trying to con even more money out of his victims to pay his legal costs, which would hundreds of thousands of pounds, given the entirely opaque UAE laws.
Meydan is part of Sheik Mohammed's hugely indebted investment company and being a racecourse was one of his biggest vanity projects. I think only the racecourse has been built, not the mega city that was to come with it.
I am inclined to think PP started off okay, got too big on borrowed of investor's money and when the wheels of the financial world fell off in 2007/8 he was simply overexposed and not savvy enough to disinvest before it was too late.
It is clearly a Ponzi scheme involving affinity fraud.

I would just say that peter Ronald is an absolute disgrace he wormed his way into descent good hearted people's lives, people who worked all their lives to build a retirement fund to see out their latter years. He has sweet talked his way in to their trust then 'stolen' their life's savings - he convinced them he was a trust worthy person through lies and deceit but now as both the Sphere and Helmlake businesses have imploded he has shown his true colours and run for the hills, blaming all and sundry for these failures when the blame should lie at his door. He is an accomplished conman i personally have ever come across its a sad day when somebody you trust steals your retirement investment - we have lost everything!
Mr Ronald how do you sleep at night???

Peter Ronald has conned millions off or hard working people we dont know any one who lent or invested money with this gutless so called man he says you invest for three years but never pays but he lives like a very rich man running and hideing all over the world and now he is going personally bankrupt in the uk well peter there are alot of people you owe money to in the uk and one day british law will catch up with you .you are a coward cheat and lier enjoy coward

Hi
Is anyone taking legal action against him/them?
I spoke to someone yesterday who took legal action against him as an individual in Dubai and claims to have won the case. Took a considerable further investment to get there but he says it worked.
I wonder if several of us did it - could we get the Dubai government to take note and freeze the guys assets etc?

Hi JS,
I have looked into taking legal action against GPD and Lee Wiigins, but has to be done in Dubai.
I find it very hard to accept that GPD took our money for International City and invested it to a completely different scheme without informing us, this is completely wrong. Also, if they cannot afford to give us our money back, why is GPD still up and running.
I would be interested in several of us grouping together to see justice done.
I am not willing to let this lie.

Help with Bluestone No 1 Fund and claim against Helmlake
Dear all,
Did anyone manage to recover any of their losses in the Bluestone No 1 Fund? Also, was anyone sold Bluestone No 1 Fund investments via any other firm other than Helmlake? I am a solicitor trying to help my clients who were also victims.
