bad meat
We purchased meat from this company. They guarantee satisfaction! We are anything but satisfied. The beef has a not so fresh flavor and is very dry. The pork has the texture of a sponge and we consider it uneatable. We have both called the Halverson Co. in Edina and left messages many times. They have not returned our calls or notified us in any way. We would like to know how they are going to make us a satisfied customer. Word of mouth is usually what keeps a business thriving. I quizzed the salesman at length about the beef, explaining that my husband has congestive heart failure and cannot eat foods with sodium. We talked about the chicken and the seafood, both are treated. He assured me the beef was fresh, not treated. I found after he left that the beef has been tenderized with ficin and bromelin, adding salt and sodium to the produce. I CANNOT USE THESE STEAKS. tHIS IS THE THIRD DAY SINCE MY PURCHASE AND I NEED TO RETURN THEM FOR A REFUND.
Please forward this complain to the Halverson's Black Angus office in edina. I will also put a notice in the mail, dated today.

meat went bad!
We bought meat from here and it all thawed out in our perfect freezer! I've tried calling now 4 times to talk to someone about this and no answer... never been spo frustrated!
