Bread allergy

Today on Wednesday, January 9th, 2013 around 1 o'clock pm at Hardees of Georgetown, SC 29440 I placed a order in the drive through. My order was 2 small sweet teas, 1 ranch chicken tender wrap and 2 plain hamburger patties only. The attendant read my order back to me and she confirmed patties only and I agreed, also telling her that my wife has a wheat allergy so the bread was not to touch the meat. The attendant replied ok. I was the only vehicle in the drive through so I just new the order was going to be right. Once I pulled up to pay for my food I over heard what seemed to be the manager say "meat only" to the front line cook. The description of the assumed manager was short, heavy set redish brown short hair with a very noticeable mustache. No I am not kidding about the mustache. She was also wearing a turquoise shirt that stood out from the rest of the staff and a headset. Not only was she the manager she was also the person that took my order. Before receiving my food I over heard the manager say to the cook "it was supposed to be meat only, oh well." Once I received my food I pulled up and checked my order. Of course my order was wrong both of my hamburger patties were in the bun. Without hesitation I pulled around and went inside and explained the situation to the manager that took my order and let it be served knowing it was wrong. My order was fixed but the fact of her letting my order be served knowing it was wrong cannot be tolerated. My wife has a severe wheat allergy and she could have gotten sick if she would have just taken the bun off and eaten the meat from cross contamination. The manager stated that the reason it was on the bun is because it comes with it. Very Sorry excuse! I am from Georgetown and intend on going back to hardees again but service like that cannot be tolerated. Thank You for your action on this complaint.
