beware of these scammers!
I am unfortunate enough to have my student's loan deposited to Higher One. These guys have charges all over! In example they are charging half a dollar for merchant transactions for using my money. These kind of charges drive the customers insane, we easily get into overdraft without knowing that and after that they apply additional charges for the overdraft itself. If you can avoid these guys at all possible costs.
