Item Never Received

We placed an order on 9/17 for an item, and it is currently January 3rd, and we've yet to receive our item.

I have been unable to contact the business through phone, e-mail, or live chat. There is a recorded message saying that they are closed over Christmas and "will re-open January 2nd at normal hours". I called and e-mailed all day January 2nd and the 3rd, and that message is still playing.

I warn against anyone ordering anything from this merchant.

**Update- The BBB now has a link up stating that this company is no longer in business. See below. Not sure if orders can still be processed.

Item Never Received

I placed an order with HomeTimeFurniture.com at the beginning of November 2011 and I also have not received my item. I have also been unable to contact them through phone (no one ever answers), email (no one has responded to emails I sent), or live chat (which is "currently offline" every time I've checked). This is ridiculous.

Seems I have been duped also. After unsuccessfully trying to contact company inquiring where my order was, I found this review and my heart sank...Not to mention my order was a Christmas Present for my wife... So, where di I go from here? How many more have money lost? Can we get together for legal action? Please contact me at [email protected]."

Item Never Received

Rich- We contacted our Credit Card company (which is how we paid) and explained the details to them. Our account was credited and they have opened an investigation. We always us a cc for large purchases for this exact reason. I'd be interested in joining a lawsuit if others are interested. Sorry you got burned too.

When we made the purchase in September, there was only 1 complaint and lots of positive reviews. Now I see that many more posted this fall and winter. Live and learn, I guess.

Item Never Received

My fiance and I have have recently found ourselves in the same situation. We purchased a full Lexington Dining Suite (table, 10 chairs and buffet). The order was processed and we were informed that the table was back ordered until January 4. Once available, the table, chairs and buffet would be shipped. Well, as other have found over the past week, when we called we were unsuccessful connecting with anyone or even a recording. I called Lexington Furniture directly to find out from them if they had any information on the status of HomeTime or Lexington orders placed through them. To my surprise, the person I spoke with said that HomeTime was an excellent dealer for them and that Lexington was unaware of any problems/changes with HomeTime. So she was very surprised (professionally and it seemed genuine) to hear me expressing such strong concern over our order. She called them and was unable to get through to a live person...but she did get a recording about the offices being closed for the Holiday (back on Jan 2...and it was the 6th). She also informed me that she/they had received communication from their rep at HomeTime earlier in the week. Anyway, we sent an email to the Hometime representative that manages the Lexington relationship/orders and have not yet heard back from him. For what it's worth, I did feel a wee bit more comfortable after speaking with Lexington that there was a slim chance our order would actually get process through HT and if not that Lexington would be able to help in some way. I am probably false in my comfort but did want to share this with other consumers who are now fearful that we have lost money to this company.

I ordered a dresser chest on January 1st and haven't herd anything from the company. Tried calling several times and no answer. BAD COMPANY!!!

I ordered a curio Oct 16, 2011 and never received it Called several time and said it would be first week of January now I can't get a hold of them. Want my money back!!!

Item Not Received

I ordered a Lexington Regency Console from Home Time Furniture in September 2011 and paid for it in full of course. Very costly piece. I am a Snow- Bird. Originally I wanted it for my place up North. I was told that the item would take a couple of months to arrive at their warehouse from Lexington. By early November I was set to fly south and the item had not arrived yet. I contacted Home Time Furniture and they informed me that the piece had arrived at their warehouse and would be shipped in the next week or so. However seeing that the item if shipped would not make it before I flew south, I contacted Home Time Furniture again and asked them to hold it for me till Spring when I go back North. They agreed to do so. After New Year my wife and I thought the piece would look nice in our place down here in Florida. So I tried to contact Home Time Furniture on Jan 5, 2012. Imagine my surprise when all I got was a recording saying that they are closed for the holidays and will re-open on Jan 2nd 2012 at 10:00 a.m. (it was Jan 5th!). Tired emailing and instant messaging but no luck. I went online and found a string of complaints on this and other sites with basically same story.

Tried contacting the New York BBB and was tersely told to contact Internet Crime Complaint Centre: www.ic3.gov I have filed a report with them not sure what good it will do. Perhaps if other file a report - add their voices as it were- something might be done. Is there anything else I can do? Would definably be interested in a class action law suite.

Item Never Received

Add me to the list of customers who did not receive the furniture I ordered. Received a phone call the week before Christmas and they told me the order would be delivered the first week of January. Well, guess what...no one answers the phone and no one answers email at the company. I called my credit card rep. and they are working on the dispute with this outfit. Maybe the BBB needs to contact the attorney generals office and shut the web site down. DO NOT ORDER FROM HOMETIME FURNITURE!!!

Item Never Received

I order a Half Round Curio Cabinet in Novemebr and have yet to receive my product. I am condtacting the BBB to file a complaint I suggest you all do the same. Hopefully thewy will investagate, refund our money and fine the company!

I ordered a legacy classic bed december 15 2011 have not been contacted since confirmation email. tried calling many times but nothing. web site is down for the last three days. do not order from these felons. 1-19-2012. by pissed off santa cluas. p.s. gift for grand son.

Item Never Received

We ordered a chest of drawers in November, but the delivery was cancelled. Had to pay for shipping AGAIN because Home Time had not paid the shipping company. At least we received the chest, but are out double shipping costs. The shipping company said that Home Time went out of business after picking up our chest.

I'm having the same problems. My account was charged $2500 12/6/2011 and I still haven't received my furniture. Their website does not respond, phones aren't answered and no replies to emails

I ordered a sofa with this company on October 24, 2011 in the amount of $665.10, at that time they withdrew the funds from my account saying that they were ordering the sofa from the manufacturer (broyhill) and that the sofa would be delivered within 4-6 weeks. In late December my sofa had still not arrived so I called them again and they told me that the sofa was completed and at the manufacturers warehouse but that the delivery company that they use was behind on orders so it would be shortly after the New Year (2012) that my sofa would be delivered. They also gave me a refund of $50.00 for the delay in delivery at this time. On January 14, 2012 I tried to log onto the companies website and was unable to, at that time I just assumed that the website was down due to maintenance or something to that effect. Now I have tried to call them and get no answer and have tried to log on to the website several more times and the site has been taken down. BBB has issued a statement saying that the company has not returned any communication and does not appear to be in business any longer. I have filed with the BBB and am waiting on a cal back from the Attorney General.

Hey don't worry I just got screw with $14, 000 my furniture was supost to arive in 90 days one thin I did keep calling next thin I new they was no ones to get in touch. home time furniture ran with my cash now is under investigation I went to the pleace were they had a scam going there was not there no longer they had vanish, no longer a page in the website no phone number you can't get touch or contact anyones. just beware call firts before you do any purches find out who they are ask many question if you have to think about it firts then check were they are locater get some information before you throw you money o way the are a lot skimmer at there.

Rug received was different from store sample. Dalene refused to provide refund or even discount for rug. Followed up for several months without any resolution. Very disappointed. Would not do business with Dalene again.
