Prescription overcharge
You were probably paying down a deductible. Sometimes, it is cheaper to not file on your insurance, sometimes it is. No drug store has the same price on drugs. Your local pharmacies will be lower on some, higher on others. It really depends on your plan and where you are in the donut hole.
Keep in mind, Walmart has a list of all drugs on the $4 list on their website (walmart.come/pharmacy). Heck, here is the list of all the stores links for their generic programs with the drugs on each stores list. It might benefit you to use one of them to fill the cheap ones instead of filing with your insurance, UNLESS you are paying down your deductible. If so, it pays to file all under there so when you really need the coverage, you pay less out of pocket at that time..
Something to think about anyway.

Humana is the worst, most bureaucratic, dogmatic service operation ever devised. When requesting to speak to a management level person to resolve a botched electronic enrollment, Humana had no system that would ever allow a person to speak to a manager. You will be directed to a first level customer service representative; whereafter the highest level person you can reach is a supervisor. No one above a supervisor will ever be available. Unfortunately, the first and second level customer service people are not trained or knowledgeable enough, to handle all issues. Additionally, none of these customer service reps have direct phones or the ability to receive fax information. As a result, Humana reps cannot receive information that might resolve an existing problem; or provide supplemental documentation. I wasted over 4 hours, during 2 days of intense frustration. Do business with Humana at your own risk!!
