perscription coverage
My wife is legally blind IEHP wont cover the insulin PENS the will cover the needles for them but not the pens ? they also wont cover the test strips BUT when she is sick they love to give her more pills now up to 22 a day but when she goes back to hospital they tell her not to take them ones just throw them out this has happened with new pills and atleat 12 bottles what a waste of money
Now a social worked showed up at my door (my wife is still in hospital 3rd week) they told her she is home more of a waste of time and money this just goes on and on ...

rudeness of primary doctor
On April 10,2014 My Kidney specialist put myself in the hospital for renal failure and dehydradtion. Out of courtesy, he called my primary doctor to let him know. My primary doctor got mad and told him to take care of me himself. As I didn't go through the ER dept. I had a appointment with my kidney doctor when he put me in the hospital. My primary doctor hung up on my kidney doctor and wouldn't accept anymore calls from him..
I feel that that is very childish on my primary doctors half. I don't need a childish or a doctor who gets mad a things that don't go his way.
I would like to change my primary doctor. My primary doctor is Dr. Om Sood 12998 Hesperia Rd. Suite 101, Victorville, Ca. 760-955-2828
I would like my new primary doctor to be Dr. Sunil H, Patel 18145 US Highway 18 Suites F&G Apple Valley, Calif. &60-810-0888

IEHP...GARBAGE, HATE HATE HATE
All the IEHP junk mail we received before we were FORCED to change and lose our Medi-Medi Ins. The wordage says we'll get just as good medical care as before. BIG F****ing LIE. This Ins Co THINKS they can manage my medical care. I'm going on 70yrs old. They KNOW NOTHING about me and or my medical issues. I just learned this past Friday IEHP Dual Choice canceled my cancer Dr;s contract??? Thank You IEHP DUAL CHOICE for putting my life on the line. Now, this week I have to find another Hemo-Oncology Dr to care for me (that will know absolutly nothing about me or my breast cancer) I'm a breast cancer surviver 4yrs now and now I'm looking for a cancer Dr that will know nothing about my cancer Tx OR a Dr that I don.t know. You LIED IEHP! You don't give s crap about me as a person. All they care about is DENY, DENY, DENY. Mater of fact my Dr ordered an inhaler for my chronic sinus prob I've suffered for years, This no-good INSURANCE Co, denied the Rx. IEHP will only provide me with Rx that has Albuteral. These idots at IEHP wants to FORCE me to take this Rx. These Idots don't have a clue Im a 'tachycardia" patient. Hey IEHP IDOTS, I refuse to take albuteral, raises blood pressure, rapid heartbeat, Then I'm in full blown Tachycardia, Then I'll need to see my PCP for a referral (that takes approx two weeks), then I'll need to call this, Whomever this NO-GOOD ins co chooses for me. That appt may take me a week if i'm lucky, And if I'm lucky this will be a cardio Dr and maybe not... Now this cardio Dr knows NOTHING about me. Remember I've now been in full blown tachycardia for, Well it really doesn't matter how long it's been, I'd be DEAD. My Medi-Medi Ins I pick up the phone and call my own cardio Dr, He knows my history. Now my life depends on a Dr that sits on his butt, in an office to make ALL MY MEDICAL CHOICES. ALL this IEHP is interrested in the Govenment monies certainly not my medical care. If I die it's gonna be on them, ask me if I think they care, HELL NO!!

Worst Insurance Ever!
My husband has been going to Hi-Desert Family Health Clinic, owned by Dr. Salholtra. He went there with an urgent request to be seen by a urologist a week ago. The P.A. managed to lose the referral and nothing had been submitted after a week. My husband went into the office and explained the situation and was told another request for a referral would be submitted. It was, but it wasn't marked as URGENT. That means that it could take 10 days to obtain a referral, so if you add that to the week already waited, it would be 17 days.
Dr. Salholtra is only there a few hours in each month and seems to have relatively little to do with the management of the clinic other than to make money from it. He is more concerned with his more well-off patients who have better insurance. I am so tired of fighting to get to see a specialist on IEHP that I could scream. Nobody cares. If anyone wonders why people use the ER instead of going to their "doctor" I now can understand the reason for such visits. There are four Urgent Care facilities in Yucca Valley and NOt ONE of them accepts IEHP. Is this an indication of how difficult it is to collect payment from this insurance? There is only one clinic that is open full time here that takes this insurance so the owner pretty much has a monopoly on the people with this type of insurance.

IEHP coverage is the worst
I am so beyond aggravated with the health care system lately. I am struggling with multiple issues, like borderline personality disorder (which has a 10% suicide rate), pain in my ovaries, migraines, and constant colds and coughs. Over the last year I have been transferred FOUR TIMES to different doctors because they are either leaving the city or retiring. Every time I get switched, it takes a month to get an appointment as a new patient.
I am not sure how much longer I can deal with this health care. I want a new doctor because my current one is horrible and is pushing Jesus on me. Jesus and praying will not help me. Medicine and help and care by physicians will help me.
I'm currently waiting to have some lab results read and I've been here for 2 hours. Wow.
IEHP absolutely sucks in my book. If you ever have the choice to choose another, DO NOT CHOOSE IEHP.
